I am a long time fan of beach music, Carolina branch, but I must say that I am disappointed in the quality of this CD. Remakes of songs that did not need remaking, JD Cash sounds like bad Sinatra to my ears. The re do of Don't Worry Baby was surprisingly listenable. The beach music vibe was there on about half of the tunes. I have a feeling that this music and these bands sound much better live, with a cold beer in your hands in a club at ocean side. Maybe volume 1 has a higher quality of work. It's not terrible, just disappointing.
