I can't get enough of the bad boy series! Each anthology is full of wonderful and erotic surprises. Lori Foster's stories have been my favorites in all of the installments -- and this one's no exception.

In My House, My Rules, Foster tells the story of Ariel and Sam with a new brand of male naughty behavior all its own. This is rather unlike her previous stories, which all involved friends making a bet. Sam is one of the most insubordinate bad boys Foster's written thus far. I didn't want the story to end and left me begging for more -- so to speak.

Donna Kauffman's Going Down? is a not-holds-barred erotic romp about two people getting stuck in an elevator. What transpires is one of the steamiest stories ever written in the series. I read it in one sitting.

However, the anthology takes a rapid spin toward disappointment with Nancy Warren's A Fast Ride. Warren's writing isn't as provocative and engrossing as Foster's and Kauffman's, and the story development is rather slow. I wish Janelle Denison had been included in this series -- she's one of the best writers of this genre.

Are you in the bargain for sheer erotic escapism? Pick up Bad Boys on Board, but also be sure to pick up the others from this outstanding series.

Bad Boys on Board was a good combination of romance and sensuality and it is all thanks to the great stories of the three authors: Lori Foster, Nancy Warren, and Donna Kauffman.

My House, My Rules was my favorite out of the bunch, and the reason I bought the book. Sam Watson was a cop working undercover when his youngest brothers ex-girlfriend tries to rescue him in a bungled undercover operation. Ariel has loved Sam almost since she first met him, and Sam has been fighting his attraction to her since the the first time they met. But, he thinks she is too young for him, being 24 to his 36. And, he doesn't want to hurt his youngest brother Pete, who he believes isn't over Ariel yet.

After the bungled undercover operation, Sam takes Ariel to his house to get her fixed up a bit and the romance just takes off from there. She is willing to do anything to prove her love to Sam, even go by His Rules. They share a wonderful night together and Ariel is even more in love with Sam then the previous night. Sam too knows that he is in love with Ariel, but with the interference of younger brother Pete, the "relationship" falls apart and Sam has to convince Ariel that he is in it for the long haul.

A thoroughly romantic book with great characters. Lori sets up middle brother Gil's story in this book too, or so it seems anyway.

Going Down by Donna Kauffman was also a pretty good story. Callie is the executive assistant to a female executive and she devotes long hours to the company. Callie is asked to escort business associate Dominic Colbourne down to his car, but as they are going down the elevator, the power goes off and they are stuck together for the night. Some quite sexy things go on in that elevator and the two characters bare their souls to each other. They both have a lot of baggage that has prevented them from having a long term relationship. Though the sex in the elevator after only just meeting the guy seemed a little far fetched, it was nonetheless a good novella. Callie and Dominic were both characters who were well developed and interesting.

Nancy Warren's story A Fast Ride was my least favorite of the three stories. I just didn't like the hero's reaction to the heroine at the end of the story. Nell rescues a motorcycle accident victim (Wes) and she pretends to be his girlfriend. Like I said, not my favorite story, but it wasn't horrible by any means.

Bad Boys on Board was a good book all in all and I look forward to reading the next Bad Boys trilogy. These writers (especially Lori Foster and Donna Kauffman) seem to be getting better and better all the time.

MY HOUSE, MY RULES (Lori Foster)...Officer Sam Watson has been around the block more than a few times. When first introduced to his brother's new friend, Ariel, Sam felt instantaneous lust for the blond bombshell. It wasn't just that she was his brother, Pete's girlfriend, she was also twelve years younger than him. It didn't matter that she had a body that he couldn't stop lusting after, he knew that he would never betray his brother like that. All that changes one night when she involves herself in his undercover operation, and is hurt. Suddenly, Ariel can't keep her feelings to herself any longer and finally goes after what she wants, which is Sam.

GOING DOWN? (Donna Kauffman)...This was the best of the three. After a painful divorce, which made her feel like less than a woman, Callie Montgomery has thrown all her energy in her career. That all changes the night that she escorts Dominic Colbourne out of the building. When the elevator comes to a halt and she is stuck in the dark with the lucious Dominic, Callie can't help but think that he wouldn't be interested in her in the light of day. Soon, it doesn't matter, because Dominic is showing her a whole new side to her sexuality. Dominic has lost his enjoyment in anything but business. Suddenly, this woman that he has a fleeting impression of is bringing all his scences blaring back to life. He can't get enough of her in the hours they are stuck together. And when they get out, he knows he won't be able to give her up.

A FAST RIDE (Nancy Warren)...Nell Tennant has come home to Kansas to regroup from the fast paced life she led in L.A. When an unconsious biker flies into her aunt's yard, she saves his life...and arouses his desire. Suddenly she has a criminal in her house that doesn't even know his last name. And one that she lusts after. She knows that the game will be up when he regains his memory, but for now, Nell decides to take advantage of the man that stirs her blood like none other. Wes knew that he wasn't a criminal, but he didn't know why he knew that. All he knew was the only person he could trust is Nell. The only thing he can't figure out is why he can't remember someone like Nell. When he does get his memory back, he doesn't know whether to be outraged or flattered. He does know that he won't give Nell up, though.

This is a great anthology that you won't want to miss!

Bad Boys on Board is an anthology by three of my favorite authors: My House, My Rules by Lori Foster; Going Down? by Donna Kauffman, and A Fast Ride by Nancy Warren. Talk about steamy! I loved all three.

In "My House, My Rules", Ariel Mathers has decided to do whatever it takes to make policeman Sam Watson want her. Sam is extremely attracted to Ariel, but there's the little matter of a big age difference, not to mention the fact that he's sure his younger brother Pete is in love with Ariel. Sam is used to making the rules and being in control of his life. Ariel is throwing his world off-kilter. Luckily, Sam's family can be counted on to give them the occasional nudge in the right direction. My House, My Rules is a hot, fast-paced story. As soon as I finished the story, I was ready for a re-read!

In "Going Down?" Callie Montgomery and Dominic Colbourne are trapped together in an elevator. Callie is a very hard-working personal assistant; Dominic is powerful business executive. In their everyday lives, they are two very different people. They don't come from the same kind of backgrounds, or share similar lifestyles. During their enforced intimacy in the elevator, they begin to learn things about themselves and each other, and discover that they may have more in common than they realized. This is a hot, erotic story of two people who explore and share their emotions, their feelings, and themselves.

In Fast Ride, Gertrude Hopkins is tired of bikers racing down her street. She decides to do something about it - she blocks the road with a downed tree! Unfortunately, Wes isn't able to stop in time to avoid it. He goes flying off of his motorcycle, and hits his head. Nell Tennant, Gertie's great-niece, is sure Wes has lost his life. Luckily, he has only lost his memory. Since her great-aunt caused his injuries, Nell feels obligated to take care of Wes while he recovers from his injuries and amnesia. At least, she tries to convince herself that's the only reason! Nancy's story jumps right into the action from page one, and never lets up.

Fans of all three authors are in for a treat with Bad Boys on Board. If you haven't read these authors before, don't be surprised it you find yourself hunting for their backlist titles!

Juxtaposed to its two brilliant predecessor I Love Bad Boys and I Brake for Bad boys, Bad Boys on Board may not be the best but it's definitely worth the ticket price.

My House, My Rules by Lori Foster introduces Sam Watson, a policeman. Sam is a man who is used to being in control of his life. Ariel Mathers sets that control on its ear. Ariel is a strong willed woman and is not going to let a little thing like an age difference get in her way. This story is a steamy ride that will make you want to read it again and again.

Going down? By Donna Kauffman tells the intriguing story of Callie Montgomery, temporary secretary and Dominic Colbourne, a businessman. These two would have not have connected under normal circumstances but when they are trapped together over night in an elevator, they realize how much they do have in common. In this erotic story the two characters really do some deep soul searching to forge a new relationship.

A Fast Ride by Nancy Warren, Nell Tennant's great Aunt Gertrude Hopkins helps to land the man of Nell's dream at her feet. Wes Doman takes Nell on a wild ride from their first "reviving" kiss till the end of the story. As Wes recovers from his accident and amnesia, he and Nell embark on a hot romance.

All three stories will get your blood bumping.

The "Bad Boys" tradition continues with this latest book, including novellas by series regulars Lori Foster and Donna Kauffman, and now romance author Nancy Warren.

Lori Foster's novella, "My House, My Rules" features a gruff undercover cop, Sam, struggling with his growing attraction to the woman he *thinks* broke his younger brother's heart. Ariel, the 24-year-old heroine, succeeds in actually behaving like a 24 year-old, albeit one who knows *exactly* what she wants -- Sam. Foster continues her tradition of spicy romance, engaging characters, and amusing secondaries.

Donna Kauffman's novella, "Going Down", is an unusual "one-room romance", wherein a broken elevator becomes the setting for two people to drop their pretenses and relate to one another using only the truth. Between the darkness and the close-quarters, neither character can hide from the other. Kauffman's novel takes a unique situation and turns it into an experiment in story arc that breaks the rules of the traditional romantic plot. Thank goodness for the novella form which allows such an unusual storyline to unfold.

Nancy Warren (who also writes for several Harlequin lines), debuts with Kensington Brava in "A Fast Ride". In the short amount of space, "A Fast Ride" included both a fully-formed relationship as well as a rather complicated plot. Where a longer book might get bogged down by the weight of its amnesiac premise, Warren keeps the pace up, and solves both the amnesia and the case of mistaken identity before the reader has a chance to question it and -- more importantly -- before it starts bogging down the romance. I was impressed by Warren's ability to create a moving relationship in such a small space, and look forward to her future Brava novellas.

A fine addition to the Brava series, BAD BOYS ON BOARD should be conisdered a sign of romance's bright future.

For fans of the Bad Boys series, this latest in the series may be a disappointment, but i think it is worth the purchase for lori foster's story alone. Bad Boys on Board is a 3 book anthology with writers' Lori foster, Donna Kaufman and Nancy Warren.

Lori Foster's story (my house/my rules) is my favorite- telling the story of Sam and Ariel- Sam is a great hero. He is a cop trying to do the right thing and avoid his brother's girlfriend, despite his own feelings for her. Of course, Ariel has other ideas and what follows is a steamy read.

I liked Donna Kaufman's story "Going Down" about 2 people trapped overnight in an elevator but was less impressed by Nancy Warren's story. "A Fast Ride"- was about an undercover agent who has amnesia after a motorcycle accident and is found by the heroine who nurses him back to health.

All in all, the book was an enjoyable summer read- definately worth the purchase for those who enjoy the Bad Boy series and who are fans of Lori Foster's writing.

One of the greatest weaknesses of anthologies is that inevitably one of the selections does not live up to the quality of the other stories; however, readers need not have that concern with BAD BOYS ON BOARD! Authors Lori Foster, Donna Kauffman and Nancy Warren team together for three terrific novellas about bad boys and the girls who love them. These bad boys really know how to turn up the heat. Sexy, sassy and seductive, these tales will certainly satisfy lovers of romantica.

"My House, My Rules" by Lori Foster: When dynamo Ariel Mathers comes to the rescue of undercover cop Sam Watson, sparks fly. She previously had dated his younger brother, and Sam has decreed hands off. But he when he takes her home for repairs after their encounter, Sam finds himself in a dominating role in a desperate ploy to remain in control of his own emotions. One of the hottest romance authors of our generation, Foster once again proves her talented pen with this lightly dominating story that sizzles!

"Going Down" by Donna Kauffman: A stalled elevator results in an erotic interlude for strangers Callie Montgomery and Dominic Colbourne. Recently divorced, Callie believes she must make her mark in the corporate world after her marriage failed so miserably. Dominic also does not believe himself cut out for romance although he is a successful millionaire. But in the dark, they find common ground and sensual excitement. Kauffman's provocative style sizzles in the ultimate elevator story!

"A Fast Ride" by Nancy Warren: A booby trap lands a mysterious biker right in Gertie's beans and results in great niece Nell giving CPR. When he awakens, a case of amnesia and coincidence leaves him assuming that Nell is his woman and that he is a member of the Hog Squad gang. With an opportunity like this, Nell decides to take advantage and to live on the wild side. Warren's gift for the unexpected gives readers a wild ride!

FOSTER: I loved the characters in this story. Sam was arrogant, yet adorably so; very realistic personality. What kept his feelings for Ariel under wraps was her age - only 24, to his 36. I was glad the author didn't try to make Ariel a "mature-for-her-age" type woman. She left Ariel as she truly was, a delightful, spunky, vulnerable young woman who was young enough to still want to stomp her foot, yet old enough to know exactly what she wanted out of life. What a great story!

KAUFFMAN: This story captivated me from the beginning. British mogul Dominic had it all; great looks, wealth, and good health. And he fell in love with Callie, an almost "mousy" woman, who had nothing really going for her except possibly her job, wherein she did most of the work without due compensation. Dominic was a very classy, elegant guy with great sex appeal. He was perfection, indeed.

WARREN: For some reason, Wes and Nell's story didn't hold up to the first two stories. It was an okay read, but in no way did these characters and the story capture my attention.
