Amazingly bad,
By paradoxes "paradoxes" (Tucson, AZ USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Bad Boys: Why We Love Them, How to Live with Them, and When to Leave Them (Paperback)
While Ms. Lieberman seems to like to make a lot of claims, she does not like to back them up with facts. In my opinion, this book is nothing more than pop psychology, and poorly done at that.

Terrible,
This review is from: Bad Boys: Why We Love Them, How to Live with Them, and When to Leave Them (Paperback)
Books like this have the potential to send the message that violence and insults with sexual innuendos are the way to handle disputes and problems. This book is nothing but garbage. Lieberman piles on claims but backs nothing up with fact. Disgrace to the printed medium.

I wasn't aware they were giving away book deals to any hack..,
This review is from: Bad Boys: Why We Love Them, How to Live with Them, and When to Leave Them (Paperback)
I don't know how dribble like this has made it to store shelves. People who make books like this truly make the world more ignorant all in the name of pocketing a couple bucks. Save your time by something that was written by a real "Doctor". There are people in the world who deserve to have books published, this just floods the market place with even more sub-mediocrity.

One of the worst books I've read,

There isn't much that I can say about this book.
It puts forth fallacies as though they were facts, it makes ridiculous presumptions and it's poorly written. I can only guess that the positive reviews here came from associates of the author or paid marketers. Do not read this if you value your time.

Simplistic one sided pop psychology-few worthwhile insights,
This review is from: Bad Boys: Why We Love Them, How to Live with Them, and When to Leave Them (Paperback)
Any good points this book may have is offset by it's negatives. Another man bad, woman good book without putting any responsiblity on the women who chase 'bad boys'. The book actually gives advice on how to stay with a bad boy rather than ways to work on a woman's low self esteem. No mention of the fact that there are "bad girls" out there who fit the same chracteristics. A forgettable book with nothing new to say.

A shining example of perpetuating stereotypes,
This review is from: Bad Boys: Why We Love Them, How to Live with Them, and When to Leave Them (Paperback)
As another reviewer pointed out this is a terrible book with nothing but "pop psychology" fluff. There is no substance to Ms. Lieberman's writing and I warn against anyone from purchasing her book.

Bad Boys: Why We Love Them, How to Live With Them. and When to Leave Them,
This review is from: Bad Boys: How We Love Them, How to Live with Them, When to Leave Them (Hardcover)
Poorly written and seemed like nothing more than an expansion to something you could find in any woman's magazine. Cliche and full of holes.

damage yourself,

This review is from: Bad Boys: How We Love Them, How to Live with Them, When to Leave Them (Hardcover)
Look at the Library Journal review presented here. Lieberman is guilty of everything mentioned in the first half of the review. Overblown prose. Numerous cliches. [Ideas] palatable to daytime talk-show devotees. Simplistic Freudian analysis. Mumbo-jumbo. This is the state of the business today, and it has much more to do with making money by crushing lives than psychoanalysis. If you're in this book's target audience, you are already far too dim to comprehend just why this book is so lousy - the good news is, reading it cannot damage you further. But for the rest of you, consider the Library Journal review (if not this one) a warning - stay away from this junk, for your sanity's sake. This woman (Lieberman) should be jailed, if only to keep her away from a word processor. And the publisher should consider itself lucky it cannot be brought up on charges of incompetence.

This author has no idea what she is writing about. She states her own random ideas and opinions as if they were facts and completely twists the truth. This book is awful.

No logic or evidence,
This review is from: Bad Boys: Why We Love Them, How to Live with Them, and When to Leave Them (Paperback)
No logic or evidence supports the arguments presented in this book. The author repeats her unsubstantiated claims again and again as if they take on more authority each time.
