3.0 out of 5 stars Could have been better, May 30, 1999

This review is from: Bad Dates: Celebrities (And Other Talented Types Reveal Their Worst Night Out) (Paperback)
Some of the stories in the book are entertaining but more often than not, they were simply flat and uninteresting. One story which stood out was Ray Sharkey's account of his bad date. One could tell he was one of the most promiscuous kids on the block and his final line of his account read along the lines of "When I moved to Los Angeles I was a kid in a candy store." One didn't have to be Einstein to know that he meant access to women. I guess I wasn't surprised to subsequently learn that he died of AIDS back in 1993. Too many bad dates.
