When I saw that the Chicago based band The Last Vegas was coming out with a new album, I was both excited and nervous. Their last release, 2009's "Whatever Gets You Off" was amazing. I didn't think they would ever top that one. But they did. "Bad Decisions" is non-stop, in your face rock and roll. The bass and drums are straight forward, rock steady, and keep a driving rhythm section pounding with force. The dual guitars would make any musician proud, and the vocals are awesome with a great sense of melody that fits the band's songs perfectly. Most importantly, the songs rock, and are catchy. I haven't been able to stop listening since I downloaded the album. If you like your rock hard but melodic with lots of energy and fast flying guitars, give these guys a listen. You won't be disappointed.

This is "the" band to carry the sleaze rock torch from bands like Motley Crue forward into the future. Just put this on, grab a Jack and Coke and enjoy what real rock 'n' roll feels like.

The Last Vegas is a band that fills the void left after the death of the Sunset Strip, but also will appease the fans of the harder, grittier rock of Buckcherry and Guns 'n Roses' Appetite days. This album is an excellent successor to their debut. My personal favorite track is "Evil Eyes" with its simple yet aggressive guitar and baseline. "Beat to Hell," "Bad Decisions," and "Other Side" round out my favorites, but their really isn't a bad song on the album.

Chicago sleaze rockers The Last Vegas returned with a new album in 2012. Their fourth album overall, Bad Decisions is the long awaited follow-up to their 2009 breakthrough Whatever Gets You Off, and it gets the party started right from the start.

There are no surprises here. You buy a record from The Last Vegas because you're looking for some high octane party rock songs about drinking, women, rocking and maybe drinking and rocking with women. This is good time rock n' roll that takes the AC/DC/Motley Crue/Aerosmith (back before they were a ballad factory) into the modern era. It's a blast from start to finish.

It's a shame music like this is ignored by mainstream radio, because the modern rock stations could use some reminding that not everything has to sound like Coldplay and Nickelback. Fortunately there are bands like The Last Vegas (and fellow rockers Charm City Devils, Endeverafter and Airbourne) that keep the classic rock vibe alive and keep rock n' roll fun.

Let me start by saying, these guys haves bright future in rock. It makes me glad nikki sixx helped give them their by break...good ear Mr sixx. This band brings the perfect modern ammount to a very 80's styled band. The sound reminds me of the crue a little to start! You can no doubt hear the 80's influence through the guitar hooks and solos. The vocals remind me of Jeff Keith (Tesla) when he sings softer, and Mark Slaughter (Slaughter) and Tom Keifer (Cinderella) when he screams.
