Editorial Reviews

Review

Bad Elements: Crystal Dragon is an edgy, well-written novel. It is dark and at times quite intense with elements of erotica that work well within the story, as opposed to being gratuitous.
--Colleen Wanglund, MoreHorror.com

Lynn Mullican's debut novel Bad Elements delivers with its believable characters and serves up a solid one-two punch with its distinct and often bleak atmosphere in underground fighting.
--Dale L. Murphy, Graveside Tales

More About the Author

Lynn Mullican was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. When not spending time with her family and friends, she locked herself in her bedroom and occupied her time writing. She has written short stories, plays, poems and novels. Until the publication of her first novel, Bad Elements: Crystal Dragon, she has published several poems, including Possession-Obsession, Mother!, A Baby Poem, and several more.

Lynn's writing is dark, edgy and a bit twisted. It is a unique tale of one woman's journey through the vampire and werewolf infested underground fighting circuit.

Bad Elements: Crystal Dragon created many sleepless nights for her and her husband. On several occasions, she awoke her husband in the middle of the night to write down inspirational ideas, characters and sub-plots. Some nights she would stay up late writing, or lie awake for hours, mulling over ideas in her head. And with that said, Bad Elements: Crystal Dragon was born.

Lynn Mullican is the author of horror, paranormal fiction novel, Sacrificial Blood, and horror, thriller, fantasy, action, fiction novel, Bad Elements: Crystal Dragon.

The sequels to Crystal Dragon, Blood for Blood and The Hybrid are currently underway. Lynn is currently writing a religious horror, thriller fiction novel, The Shadow of Evil.

Lynn's influences include; Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Robert McCammon, and Edgar Allen Poe.

Lynn still lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband, Patrick. Her three adult children, Cassandra, Bridget and Joeseph, and her three grand-daughters live close to home.

Bad Elements: Crystal Dragon by Lynn Mullican throws in the Fight Club formula and mixes it with an unexpected added recipe: werewolves and vampires

what's not to like?

It has all the right ingredients of a fun, exciting and riveting good read. Throw in popular genres to make an entertaining story. This could be one of those books that if it gets the right attention it could very well make a cult novel and perhaps one day, a fine cult movie, deservingly so.

Crystal Dragon wasn't my usual cup of tea, but it's engrossing from the start and really puts you in the mind of the main character -- aptly named Crystal. I loved the whole Fight Club vibe, and adding in the supernatural elements reminded me of some of my favorite TV shows like Angel and Supernatural.

Overall, if you want a slick, violent supernatural tale, check out CRYSTAL DRAGON!

I have read this book at least 10 times. Every time I laugh, swoon and cry. I could read this book every month and get bored with it. It's a must read. Tristen's eyes, I can see them in my minds eye.
Lynn, You did a great job on this one. Can't wait wait for the next book.
Love ya Lynn,

Teresa

This is deffinately not your typical run of the mill supernatural love story. The story of Crystal and her trials and tribulations in the supernatural world keeps you wanting to see what happens next. This is a real page turner. I can't wait to see what happens in the next part of the series.
