5.0 out of 5 stars Another Solid Album August 11, 2011
Format:Audio CD
Every Avenue has been making music for quite some time now. They don't have the recognition of their rivals (All Time Low, Cartel, We The Kings) but they have established a fanbase who loves their music to the bitter end. One thing that can be said about Every Avenue is how they aren't afraid to stray a little bit from their normal routine. They have a lot more piano ballads in this album then their previous ones and it's met with a lot more maturity in their lyrics then previous albums. A few of these songs could be looked at as "fun", but I found myself connecting to more songs on this CD then their previous ones.

"Fall Apart" has a very catchy chorus and Dave really shows off his talent. Similarly, I found myself being addicted to "There Tonight" as well. Their previous album Picture Perfect has a lot of lovey-dovey songs that connect with a younger audience but at the same time can apply to nearly anyone. This album seems a lot more polished in a targeted demographic of people who have love and lost and know what it's like to be alone.

"Only Place I Call home" has a great piano beginning and the lead guitar blends in with the music beautifully. Also, if anyone is looking for Dave's amazing voice, look no further than "I Can't Now Love You." This song is an entire piano ballad which is very different from the average Every Avenue but it's still brilliant. These guys are really growing with their music.

Overall, it's a great album. Will it give them the fame they've been chasing after all these years ? Probably not. There is nothing that screams "radio friendly" on here that the masses will pick up. What this album does is give it's fans more of the same with more maturing lyrics and a mixture of pop-punk and piano ballads. Let's be frank here, if you're an Every Avenue fan, you'll love this CD.

4.0 out of 5 stars Maturity level change August 25, 2011
Format:Audio CD
There are a few songs in here, that i could say are not the greatest, But the songs that i'd have to say they have matured on grew on me quickly, Wasn't prepared for such a change but the Vulgar language doesn't ruin the song in my opinion. Good band good album, If you like every avenue this would be yet another one that should be added to the collection!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great August 7, 2011

I love this cd. I always liked Every Avenue, but I was more of a casual listener. I am sold on this cd though! The band has a more mature sound and the songs are easy to relate to!
