Tequila Time is an ongoing addition to this album that really starts her out again. She was a force in the Blue Grass area in the James Band many years ago and was a lyricist and composer then as now. She plays only her own music today. Her life has taken her in many good and bad directions which leads to her worldly music today. Born in California, partially raised in Europe, married to a blue grass band leader and fronting the band, raising her children alone and supporting them, writing children's books, reduction of the family by death that was her support has lead her to a very intellectual place in her music. It has depth. I await her next albums with anticipation. I keep buying copies for friends who hear her music on my systems. Bonnie Rait is who many compare her to, but she is different and her own force!This is 2011. She is on a nomination base (has to clear a committee) for Best New Artist and Best Song with Tequila Time in the Country Music Grammies. Someone else seems to recognize her! Paul Risinger

Natasha James' music is great. If you don't have her CDs, you don't know what you are missing!Natasha sings about life, and yes, maybe some Bad Judgements along the way. Haven't we all been there? I highly recommend the purchase of this CD! Trisha Lombardi |
