This album was the first album released by Fat Possum Records. It is out of print. I recently found a copy of it here from one of Amazon's individual sellers---Blues Source in Thousand Oaks, CA. I thought I'd give some info about the album for Burnside fans. It's not what you're used to hearing from R.L. or the Sound Machine. It features Duwayne Burnside on lead guitar. He plays real good, but in a style more typified by Texas and Chicago players. He's raw like his dad, but he wants to play that straight ahead blues. I give this album 4 stars simply because I like the ingredients, if not so much the final product. The album also features Joseph Burnside on guitar and Calvin Jackson (Cedric Burnside's father, I believe) on drums. Produced by Matt Johnson, live at Syd's in Oxford, MS. Album dedicated to the memory of Johnny Woods (see www.swingmasterrecords.com) and Cotton Howell. Here's a list of the tracks on this album:1. Talking about the Ghetto There's something remarkably truthful in this album. You can hear R.L. tuning his guitar, talking, laughing, etc. There are a few screw-ups, too. I like it a lot.
