I barely heard of Shlohmo back in the end of 2011. I'll keep this short, this is a must-listen album. It's an album that has a start and finish. It's all mood music that will make you feel weird, confused, sad, happy all injected with a huge dose of nostalgia. It's incredible, this really is different.

I have no issues with this CD. It is not like other artist that have a great CD and then a bad one. This artist has been pretty consistent so if you like this kind of music I would go for it. The only reason I didn't give it a five is because of track one and track 9 there is some noise in it that gives me a headach or makes my ears hurt (just dark). This is my opinion.

The album cover is a bit less awesome when you realize its just him in his kitchen. But still best music to chill out too ever. Mixed to perfection blending bass and analog components.

Shlohmo caught my attention due to a Tokimonsta remix on his last LP, Shlomoshun. This album incorporates quite a few different elements and is much more subdued than previous releases. But while it doesn't have the mind-altering capabilities of the Shlo-Fi EP, it is of higher creative ability and recording quality than many other electronic artists, regardless of genre.

Get it, and track down his older releases if you want to hear more. There is a handful of EPs, mixes, and two LPs for the adventurous listener. Now go forth and travel the depths of your mind, with good headphones and Shlohmo at the helm.
