When I visualize a small town setting, the first thing that comes to my mind is camaraderie, devotedness, and unity - always as most televisions and movies predict a "perfect picture." The book Badass Christian Generational Mysfunction blows that ideology out of the water. Kyle Alexander's Christina Fiction depiction to Christianity, Religion, and Church Folks shines a light to an old reality among small town folks - one that is looked upon as taboo or blasphemy - and that is "Hush!" Don't you dare speak up or speak out about small town injustice especially if that injustice is evolved around the church. Hat's off to you Kyle Alexander - your book is eye-opening and self-reflecting, especially for those of us who can relate to the fictional experiences expressed throughout your book. I so look forward to the sequel.

Badass Christian strikes at the very heart of one's soul.
The author is raw, real. There is no holds bar on truth.
The moment I picked up the book I was captured by
it's reality and I was compelled to read without pause.
I would like to see this in movie form.

This book took me on a journey into my life as a young woman growing up in a small town. The writer spoke for every young girl who might have been abused by an older man or misled by an ungodly person. As I read this novel I was able to release frustrations of my own living with secrets that can never be told for the fear of hurting others. You can relate to the main character because "Sugar" was in a sense every misguided young woman. I love the book and would highly recommend it as a good read. The best therapy in the world is facing your giants, "Sugar" faced every one of her giants and now there is nothing to hid. Good work "Sugar".
