5.0 out of 5 stars sell the album, sweetie!!!, March 28, 2003

This review is from: Badd Inc. (Audio CD)
A must have for any NYC electroclash fan. It's sexy, naughty and hasn't left my cd holder for 8 mnths. Stand out faves..."do I look like a...", "soccer practice", and gravy train's "drinkin' 40s". This disc will make you and anybody within hearing distance shake there [behind]!!! Get it!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Badd Inc. is just bad music, September 13, 2003
This review is from: Badd Inc. (Audio CD)
I'm a big ol' fan of electroclash and dancable music. About a month ago, I was on a ravenous search for new Electroclash. I found Badd Inc after hours of searching on the web for the perfect electroclash compilation.
The CD is a major disappointment. Few of the songs on this comp are dancable or innovative; in fact, the only song I like is Avenue D's fantastic "Do I look like a slut?". The other artists on the comp, however, strive solely to sound 'electroclash,' causing their songs to be void of any unique artistic style. The others never come close to being sexy or captivating. Aside from the Avenue D song, you will not find any songs on this compilation that compare to the Peaches, Felix da Housecat, Adult., or Fischerspooner. For those looking to expand their collection of fun, dancey music, find that Avenue D song, and instead purchase Soul Jazz's New York Noise comp and Rough Trade Shop's Post-punk Vol 1 comp. Both have awesome songs by some talented musicians---a quality Badd Inc lacks.

2.0 out of 5 stars Almost all pure electrocrap, July 25, 2005
This review is from: Badd Inc. (Audio CD)
I found this album for 10$ in a second hand store and I think I got totally ripped off.

But still, there's actually a few very good songs on it. I loved "Buzz Junkie", "Drinkin' 40z", and especially "Replicunt". This is kind of ironic they did put them at the end. All of the remaining tracks are more electro-house. So you still might like it if this is your bag.

But for myself, I'm sorry, I really did my best to appreciate it. I did listen to it many times and there's just nothing to do. Tracks like "I Know What Woman Want", "Supermodel Inc.", "Do I Look Like A Slut" and "Electroclash Anthem" are just fashion house electrocrap. Sorry again for speaking my mind but this is really BADD.

If you want to get the real stuff you should rather dig for ADULT., Magas, DJ HELL or Ladytron.
