I just bought this ball the other day and so far the grip feels great, the bounce is great, and the ball just all together feels natural to my preference. In a few months I am curious to see if I have any issues, as I have yet to have found a really perfect basketball that I should tell everyone about, but my fingers are crossed here.
The reason I bought this in the first place is that I have a buddy who bought one and has had great luck with it for a long time now. I have high expectations.

BEST BASKETBALL ANYWHERE,

I love this ball. Never lost air in 2 years.
It is the best balanced ball I have ever shot with. This is the game ball of many colleges and some Pro teams. Price is high but worth it.

I have been playing basketball competitively since I was 9. Now 51 and still play in amateur leagues. The best basketball by far is the NBA official leather ball.
It's the top of the line and most expensive and worth every penny. There is a major move away from leather balls to composite basketballs especially at the high school and collegiate level. The most popular ball at that level is the Spalding TF-1000. My league uses the Wilson Evolution. I own multiples of each ball. Each of these basketballs are very good. Evolution feels a bit small and the TF-1000 feels a bit light. I keep four different basketballs in my car. I always seem to reach for the Baden basketball. Most leagues will let you play with it. It is NFHS certified. Full sized at 29.5 this is the best of all non leather composite basketballs. I recently left mine at the gym and now need to get a new one. They old reviews are correct in that it had problems with holding inflation for long periods. The company fixed this problem and it now holds its air better than any other. I really did not appreciate this basketball until it was gone. All amateur leagues should be playing with this ball as the gold standard. It costs a few bucks more but you get what you pay for with this item. Amazon has a very competitive price.

nice ball before it goes flat,

It took less than a year of playing indoors once or twice a month before my Baden developed a slow leak. I have read others have had this same problem. I would avoid this ball unless you want to pump it up before you play. It's too bad because it has a nice feel to it. Similar to the Wilson Evolution (you might want to go with that one, never had a problem with those leaking).

These basketballs are very good. I bought 2 and they came in a big box together already air-filled.
Our high-schools girls team love them and we use them for season games. We'll buy many more as needed from AMAZON!!!

Comfortable cushioning but loses air.,

I've had my Baden Perfection for about 3 weeks now and have used it about a half dozen times or so. (Usually play 1-2 times/week)
I love the ball, I prefer the cushioning and soft touch over that of the Wilson Evolution but they certainly are very similar. The only issue I have with the ball is its inability to keep air inside. Perhaps, it is because I have kept it in the trunk of my car for long periods of time during the day and exposed it to heat, or whatever, but I had to pump it only a week after getting it and now (2 weeks later) it needs more air. I really am not sure if it is due to storing the ball where it could be exposed to different temperatures or not, but I sure wish the ball pressure would stay more consistent. With that said, I like this ball a lot more than the Evolution and any Spalding I've used. Can't really tell if its worth the $50 I splurged for it, but hopefully it will last at least a few years. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'd rate it as: Comfort - 10 Weight - 8 (pretty lightweight) Air Containment - 2

This is a great feeling ball but the only critique is that when you dribble the ball it sounds a little flat even though it isn't. It just doesn't sound like other balls.

i just got this ball but this is a great ball and if you want to play highschool basketball or AAU basketball this is the game ball.
if you are going to do one of those than this ball is suitable for you. but for my concern i love this ball. i used to have a wilson evolotion but that got old fast. i like this ball and highly recomend it for high level basketball players |
