I wasted 2 cans of Propel trying to get this thing to work.

The top button if you will that releases the spray/propel does not seal properly and lets the gas/propel through it.
Robert
Would most definitely recommend this to friends and fellow modellers.

I always have liked badger, for the money it is worth it. As long as u clean it after every use you won't have any problems. My last one lasted me 20 years had to replace the tip once. Great buy.

Can't beat the price, and it's simple to use. Never painted with one before, but with a little practice, I got the hang of it . The "weathering" effect on my model rail cars looks realistic. I'm very pleased with the results

PROS:
Inexpensive.
Quality build.
Every accessory to start off.

CONS:
Must be maintained and cleaned after each use.
Air tube is hard to manipulate.

This is a hell of a deal. With thorough cleaning and care, this spray gun will stand the test of time.

When considering spray guns, you need to take into account the number of times you will use the device. Me being a novice spray gun painter, I only need it a few times a year. This spray gun is perfect for a beginner.

If you need to paint something and have no brush strokes, this the the spray gun to buy.

Badger is a name brand that will last you a long time.
I had a Badger spray system from 1989 and had to finally replace it.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

I bought this for a craft project, and it was so easy to set up and use! I don't know how well suited it would be to frequent, long-term use, but it is definitely a good tool for a beginner who isn't sure whether they will do much airbrushing. Comparably-priced beginner kits at my local craft store didn't come with the can of compressed air or with an extra paint jar.

product is okay for the price. The top button if you will that releases the spray/propel does not seal properly and lets the gas/propel through it. They need to check product before shipping.

I've had my trusty Badger 250 "spray gun" for many years and it still works great. I use it for occasional plastic model building projects. I just spray some paint thinner through it (with the included spare bottle) after spray painting my model parts and it keeps humming along. It is very easy to use and clean, and the paint finish is very smooth. I prefer this device over "rattle can" spraying because I can custom mix paint colors. I have found it beneficial to place the propel can in a pan of warm tapwater before I begin spraying; this helps to prevent "pressure drop" as the propellant is released from the can. Hope this helps.
