5.0 out of 5 stars Simple and does its job!
I love this bassinet. I bought because it wasn't as expensive as some of the others and because of the base that could be used as a storage for toys later.

1.0 out of 5 stars disappointed
This bassinet is not as sturdy as it should be considering I bought one out of the paper for $20 and it was a wicker weave and the base was stong. This one has CARDBOARD SIDES AND STAPLES HOLDING IT TOGETHER. It came bend in on the sides in delivery and generally I am very dissatissfied and will not order again.

I love this bassinet. I bought because it wasn't as expensive as some of the others and because of the base that could be used as a storage for toys later.

The wheels must be sufficiently tightened or they will slide to the side when you move the bassinet around the room. The wheels slide to its side and out of the way so that the bassinet could be a rocker if you choose to be able to rock your baby.

The bassinet is light and easy to push around. I had to push the bassinet in the bathroom with me a few times in order to keep an eye on my baby when I had an upset stomach.

My baby now sleeps in the crib so I am now using the base of this bassinet as a toy chest. It works great and worth the money!

5.0 out of 5 stars Made much better than other brands, June 26, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Badger Basket Bassinet w/Toy Box Base (Baby Product)
I had this basinet for my baby and then lend it to a friend and we both loved it. It's made of solid materials not like other bassinets that were flimsy fabric over metal tubes. The bassinet part is solid "cardboard" but not cardboard like you would normally think of cardboad and its not made in a bad way. It makes it really sturdy. I think the other lady who gave the bad review didn't read the instructions or understand the product. You convert the stand of the bassinet to a nice sized toy box. You dont use the bassinet itself as a toy box!!! LIke I said I used this bassinet and then the toy box and then put it back as a bassinet for a friend to use it and it worked great for us. GREAT price too! The bedding set is also nice and you can machine wash.

1.0 out of 5 stars It fell apart with my daughter in it, May 26, 2005
This review is from: Badger Basket Bassinet w/Toy Box Base (Baby Product)
This bassinet was a waste of money. After tax and shipping it cost over $100. I registered online and did not see it in person. From the moment I put it together it did not live up to my expectations. It does NOT have lights, sound, or vibrations. But the worst part was that it was falling apart from the beginning. It started with one wheel that always fell apart when it was moved, then another wheel. Then, a little while later it became very whobbly. Then, one night, with my 2 month old daughter inside, the frame completly fell to pieces. Thankfully, the top part where my daughter was sleeping is seperate and just fell flat on the ground. If you are looking for a crade or bassinet, I would not choose this one. I have seen countless other cradles that are cuter, and of better quality, and even cheaper, that I wish I could have gotten, but I've already wasted my money on this one.

1.0 out of 5 stars Stay Away!, February 19, 2005
This review is from: Badger Basket Bassinet w/Toy Box Base (Baby Product)
A horrible bassinet that is not worth the money. Bassinet basket is made of cardboard. The mattress is very thin and cheap looking. The white Batiste bedding is cheap and is starting to shred after a few washes. The basket has broken off its secure snap latch after two uses.

Easy to assemble item as it took me 15 minutes. Love the sturdy sides as they are much better than the metal ones I was seeing. Toy box will be useful later.

5.0 out of 5 stars My opinion on the Bassinet/Cradle/Toybox, August 4, 2004

My daughter was born in February of 2000 and was 5lbs. This bassinet was ideal. I loved it then and still do. I had her in the bassinet until she was about 3 to 4 months old then i turned it into a toy box for her. I was able to take the bassinet off the stand and take anywhere I went from all over inside the house to uotside and to visit family and friends. I would recommend anyone to get a bassinet for their baby especially this model. Very sturdy and you do not have to worry about the baby. To this day I still have the bassinet and the stand is still as a toy box.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice as bassinet...not as toybox, February 6, 2006
This review is from: Badger Basket Bassinet w/Toy Box Base (Baby Product)
I used this for my daughter as an extra place to nap. I didn't like the canopy, it looked very cheap, so I didn't use it. The storage on the bottom part of the bassinet was okay for a few diapers, that's all. As a toybox, I don't recommend it. The bottom fell out so many times we finally bought a regular toy box and put this away. I'll use the bassinet for my 2nd baby as a downstairs napping place, but we won't use it as a toy box.

It is very easy to set up and take apart.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth the money, March 6, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Badger Basket Bassinet w/Toy Box Base (Baby Product)
I have been very happy with this bassinet for the money. I did buy a different mattress from babysrus that was thicker. Overall it is very sturdy and serves its purpose. My daughter is now 13 weeks and almost too long for the bassinet and I am in the process of transferring her to her crib in her room. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a temporary bed for your baby I would definitely recommend this one. I probably will not use the toy box just because I will lone it out to my other friends when they have babies.

3.0 out of 5 stars O.K., BUT POOR QUALITY, November 21, 2004

This review is from: Badger Basket Bassinet w/Toy Box Base (Baby Product)
I have only been using it for a week and already I can tell you three problems that need some improvement:

1. We have laminate flooring in our house and the weels of this bassinet get stuck in certain positions and do not turn or roll. So you end up just dragging the bassinet and scratching the floor.

2. The mattress is not of good quality and that is upsetting!

We all want the best for our babies and it's a shame the manufacturer desided that my baby can just sleep on anything!

3. Directions for assembly were terrible. Directions had accompanying pictures that are of horrible quality so you can't see anything.
