I've had this high chair for a year now, and I love it. My daughter plays with it every day, and it's worn great. It still looks as good as the day we put it together. I love that it's wood, rather than cheap plastic, and it's a pretty white with pink gingham, which I think is adorable. The material has held up great and still looks perfect. The wood is sturdy, with no cracks. It fits all my daughter's dolls, including her large Cabbage Patch doll. If I were going to change anything, I'd like a little bar in the front of the seat that would prevent the babies from slipping through (like real high chairs). For the most part, her babies stay put, but sometimes they slip down and out. It's not a big problem, though. Our friends bought the same one a year ago for their daughter, and feel the same way about it. We love the Badger Basket product line! I highly recommend this product.

It assembled well, no structural problems. High enough and narrow enough to discourage toddlers from trying to get in it. No children have lost any fingers in the flip up tray nor have they been beheaded - with these two, that's saying something.

This was the big gift my daughter wanted this year. A high chair for her doll.

And at first I was hopeful. While the tray was cracked, when I went to the company's website, I could order a replacement right away, for free! No hassle, and it was SUPER easy! The replacement came in a couple days. So far, I'm impressed.

Their website makes it REALLY easy to request replacement parts...but then it occurred to me: WHY did they put so much time into a replacement parts order page? Oh..cause the product is CRAP!

90% of the assembly was pretty easy. But (as you'll see QUITE frequently in the other reviews), the screws that hold the tray in...well, there's something wrong with the engineering here.

First time I tried, the chair-back that they screw into cracked. The replacement came (quickly, I will add), so I tried again. They went in about half way then got hard to turn. They wouldn't go in any further. During which time both screws stripped in just a few turns.

I've requested replacement screws, but reading through the other reviews, I'm doubtful that that will help. It's not that they don't go in all the way and stick out a little. No. These screws don't even go in HALF WAY!

And yes, I've quadruple checked the instructions, I know I'm using the right screws (letters on the parts match) and I'm trying them in the right holes. But it just doesn't work.

I'd try drilling the holes myself, but there's metal studs half about half way down the hole.

You'll see a trend in the reviews. High hopes...ending in disappointment. Much like the disappointment my daughter will experience tomorrow morning when her Christmas present is incomplete!

I bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter who loves her baby dolls. My daughter put this chair together with just a screwdriver. It is sturdy and has a very smooth finish. I do think the age for this toy should be changed to 2-4 years old. The chair is perfect for a young mommy!

First, it wasn't the highchair that I ordered. This highchair was substituted, which I did not appreciate since I was not contacted for the approval of the substitution. The chair is cheaply made. The leg construction is flat, not very sturdy and I was concerned about my grandaughters trying to sit in the chair themselves. I ordered three. Since it was too late to return for the chair that I ordered, I decided to put one together to see what it looked like and how sturdy the chair was. There were parts missing from the box that I opened, so I decided to just ship them back for credit. This high chair has only one brace across the bottom. The other chair had all four legs braced. I didn't get to see the other chair, so I cannot say for sure if I would have been satisfied with it either. Very disappointing for sure!

After searching online and reading reviews, I chose this highchair for my 2 year old for Christmas. BIG mistake! Imagine our disappointment when at 2am on Christmas Eve we cannot put it together properly because in THREE different places, the screws don't fit! Two were too short, so the tray keeps falling off, and one was way too long, so now it sticks out on the side, creating a safety hazard. Since we had no other alternative, we let her play with on Christmas day, but now we are searching for another high chair and plan to return this one. Sure it's sturdy enough for her to sit in it, but that doesn't too much good with screws sticking out and falling out. Do not buy! It's a piece of junk!

I can't believe this highchair is even considered to be safe for children! It lasted under 3 minutes. Literally. I recorded my daughter finding the highchair this morning so I could show it to my husband when he gets home from work. It started with her beyond happy to see it and ended with her crying her eyes out because I had to put it away so daddy can fix it. The chair is fine but the tray is a hunk of junk. The screws simply go through the tray and out the chair leaving them exposed on the backside of the chair. The threading for the smaller screws are not deep enough to keep them in place so they all fell out. My daughter is not rough with toys. She pulled the tray up, put it on the backside of the chair, put her doll in the seat, went to flip the tray back down and literally all but 1 of the screws fell out and the tray fell to the floor. Shame on the manufacturer for selling such a crappy product. I definitely will not purchase anything else from Badger Toys. I only gave the educational value an extra star because I do feel that my daughter will enjoy this chair once we take some Liquid Nails to it so it doesn't fall apart. Save yourself the hassle and heartache and spend the extra money on a better product.

My daughter really enjoys this highchair however the arm was broke when it arrived.Thank god I have a handy Husband who fixed it. Then the next day the other arm was broke. My Husband fixed that also and now it's fine. It's cute but seems fragile.

There was only one pre-assembled part - the support arms attached to the tray. The screws had pulled out from the tray and left holes in the tray so that they could not be reattached. I had to return the highchair.

I convinced my wife to purchase this high chair over a few less expensive options thinking that it would last longer. Boy, was I wrong. Two months after purchasing it, the tray separated from the arm on the right side. I tried to re-attach it using my own screws, but the hole was stripped and the small width of the tray itself made finding a suitable replacement a bit tricky. In the end, I found a screw that would do the trick... just in time for the tray to separate from the arm on the other side. Nice. So back and forth I went, trying to keep this tray attached in a manner that would still render the chair safe for our girls (with no screws sticking out, etc). Well, I guess my wife finally had enough with this rickety chair because I came home last week and found the chair atop the trash bin in front of our house. I can't say I blame her. As a last ditch attempt to salvage their reputation and mine, I called the company to see about replacement parts. The total cost would be $10. Thanks but no thanks. I'll eat my $40 (yep, that's how much I paid for it, unfortunately) and just let the dolls eat at the dining room table with us. Problem solved, and a mental note made about products from badger basket.

Good riddance.
