I put this item together myself in about an hour with no help and I'm 9 months pregnant. It probably would have gone by faster if i had a little help holding up the sides though. Anyway, i love this changing table. You will probably want to purchase a thicker changing pad but the one that comes with it works too. The drawers slide in and out easily (they're made of cloth type material) and the hamper is very spacious. I hung a diaper depot thingy (i purchased separately) on the side that holds diapers and creams and things, which is very handy. It doesn't take up a huge amount of space either.. .and unlike the previous review i read, there is no smell whatsoever to my changing table. It smelled "new" for about a day or so which wasn't unpleasant at all. And i have a terribly sensitive nose, pregnant or not.
I rate this product 5 stars because it's really cool, inexpensive, extremely useful... and stylish!

I absolutley LOVE this change table! It is beautifully made, and the laundry hamer is awesome to have within the table, its so handy! I have noticed that the drawers i use most often are getting slightly dented in from being pushed back in all the time but no big deal, still looks great! Im so glad i decided to buy this change table!

There were no problems with the shipping, and no noticeable cosmetic damage to the product.

I ordered this changing table in cherry, and it is VERY dark.

When assembling this item, don't bother using the pegs that are supposed to help position screws/provide extra support. They break very easily and essentially serve no purpose. A couple of pieces weren't labled correctly, specifically the end posts. So, after assembling the changing table, I had to disassemble it because I had accidentally put the end posts on the wrong sides. By that time, I was extremely aggravated and wanted to smash the entire thing because it had taken such a long time to assemble in the first place (due to trying to accomodate the screws AND pegs). The actual table top itself is about 1/8", but it doesn't feel too flimsy because of the support provided by the partitiions that separate the hamper and the drawers. The changing pad itself is very thin, and the safety belt is ... of poor quality. If you had wanted to get a different changing pad, the strap will not accomodate this, as it is too short to do so. It also pulls apart very easily.

Overall, this table seems sturdy enough. I'm 5'8" and it came up to around mid-pelvis. I haven't used it yet, as I'm only 7 months along. The product is around the lower end of quality for what you are paying, not to mention the hassle of assembly...

I bought this for my second child and love it. The storage baskets are perfect for diapers and wipes, receiving blankets and little socks, hats and shoes. And having the clothes hamper right there is so convenient. It's sturdy and classic looking. The only problem I had was that we were missing a few of the wooden pieces when I went to assemble it but they were really easy to get after going on the website. They shipped them to us for free and were there within a week.

took 40 mins to put together with a power drill.... very sturdy... love it. didn't notice a bad smell. mattress pad kinda thin.

The two end pieces come pre-assembled- there were visible gaps where the cross bars joined the legs. The large side cross bars are joined by a screw and a plastic dowel. I had two of the plastic dowels snap before I gave up.

The changing table is awesome for the price. However the "cherry" color is almost black! WAY too dark!!!!!! This should be labeled dark cherry instead of just cherry b/c now it looks outta place in my babies room and is way too much of a hassel to return...also...the smell is incredible toxic and nasty. I really hope that goes away.

I ordered this changing table in cherry because I think the sleigh style is cute and because it appeared that it would almost perfectly match the Delta Venetian Sleigh Crib I ordered (also in cherry) from Babies-R-Us. I received this table in 2 days and in perfect condition AND it does perfectly match the crib in style and in the cherry stain! I wasn't particularly worried about them matching perfectly, but they really do. I didn't notice too much of a smell and I assembled it myself in about an hour. The directions are like most furniture-assembly instructions - the information you need is in the detail of the drawings. I put one piece in backwards since I wasn't paying that much attention to the details in the illustrations, but I figured it out pretty quickly and was able to loosen a few screws to remove the piece and put it back in correctly. Overall, I feel like I've purchased a decent quality product for the price. I would love to have the lifestyle/income to afford a very expensive, perfect, American-made, eco-friendly piece of furniture, but in the meantime, I am thrilled with this item. My best advice to anyone purchasing this item is to study the illustrations in the product guide closely and enjoy when it's done!

This table was just what I wanted. I love the convenience of the hamper and drawers. I like having a close and convenient place for everything I need. It is very easy to use & fits in my nursery perfectly. It is simple, durable & helps keep things organized.

We bought this table and love it. It's a well built sturdy piece of furniture. It's disassembled and takes about 30 minutes to put together... No special tools needed... Just a screwdriver if I remember right. We use a thicker changing pad with it and it's perfect. The hamper is very useful. The baskets are very practical too. The only downside is that at the same time we bought the "matching" three Drawer Hamper/Storage Unit in Cherry and it doesn't really match... It's lighter in color... We did not have any smell issue.
