When used as a bassinet, the base features a handy mesh basket for storing sleeping and changing supplies. Portable bassinet can be lifted off the base and used as a bed for baby anywhere else in the house or when visiting friends (not for use in the car). Bassinet converts to a "rocking cradle" by flipping up the caster wheels. Complete bedding set included: liner, skirt, adjustable canopy, sheet, and vinyl covered foam pad. Pad measures 29" L x 14.5" W x 1" H with rounded corners. Bassinet body measures 32" L x 18" W x 9" H (22" high with the hood fully open). Base measures 22" L x 24" W x 19" H. Overall unit measures 32" L x 24" W x 42" H. Toys shown with toy box not included. Adult assembly required. Illustrated instructions included. Bedding is a machine washable cotton and polyester/cotton blend. Actual colors/patterns may vary slightly from screen display. Bassinet comes dressed in lovely sage-colored waffle fabric with pleats and includes a complete bedding set: soft quilted liner, pretty two-tier skirt attached to the liner, matching hood cover, white sheet, and vinyl covered foam pad. Bedding is a machine-washable poly/cotton blend.

Pad measures 29"L x 14.5"W x 1"H with rounded corners. Bassinet body measures 33"L x 19"W x 9"H. Base measures 22"L x 24"W x 19"H. Overall unit measures 33"L x 24"W x 40"H. Colors and styling may vary. Assembles in a few minutes with a screwdriver. Illustrated instructions included. So disappointed with this item. I reviewed and searched for the perfect bassinet for our needs and thought that that this one was functional, safe, and the overall concept of a toy box was clever. Boy was I wrong.... After unwrapping the pieces in the box my husband and I first noticed that one of the 4 wood pieces were warped and another had a fine crack in it. Very skeptical at this point b/c these are the pieces that would hold up the bassinet and at a later time be used for a toy box. The holes that were made by the manufacture also did not line up so to trying to connect the plastic hardware on the bassinet to the metal pieces was impossible. I'm sure you could have forced it together but that wouldn't be the safest for a little one and I'm sure would eventually crack from the weight. The fabric was very thin and not as pretty as the picture. Overall, I would look for something else, we thought it was very unsafe. We returned the item and now starting our search all over again.

This is a nice color green. Lighter than what the picture shows, but I like the pale color much better. It was fairly easy to put together, but the caster knobs are flimsy, so DO NOT over tighten them, they will crack easily. If you do happen to crack one, go to the manufacturer's website, they will replace free of charge if purchased within the past 30 days.

It took two of us to put this bassinet together. The casters kept slipping so we had to screw them in ourselves; the wheels don't swivel in all directions. Other than that, it's pretty sturdy.
We realize now that the canopy which is supposed to go up and down doesn't stay up any more. We had to reinforce the screws that hold it up.
The basket below has a mesh on the bottom that doesn't cover the whole bottom of it so when we put stuff there, it sometimes falls through and ends up on the floor. We actually put the baby laundry there now because the mesh is not sturdy enough to put heavier stuff on. I guess it's ok for the price and it does look pretty.
I like that the bassinett part comes off - for traveling - but when it's on the base it's very secure. A little more padding on the sides wouldn't hurt.
