After doing quite a bit of research, shopping around and talking to people, I ordered these boots through Amazons' selected dealer. The service was extremely fast and the boots arrived on time. We had some snow recently here in New Jersey and it gave me a chance to put these boots to the test. They are very easy to put on and remove. They are true to size and fit perfectly. Best of all, these are warm and waterproof. I was outside for about two hours with the temperature in the mid twentys. Did not feel any coldness at all. The Baffin boot is a winner.

I was skeptical at first when I opened this up. I hadn't looked very closely at the picture, and saw the little dangling thing that looked like a zipper pull and the seam down the front, so it looked like it opened up to get feet in and out easily, but I found out differently upon delivery. No zipper, you have to shove your foot in and pull it all the way out. I had expected it to be a problem since usually that means the boots feel loose if it's easy enough to slide in, or if the boot still fits snugly, that means it's a real pain getting feet in and out.
This one is snug, but the foot goes in easily and comes out easily. Draw strings on top to help keep a lot of snow from falling in if you're outside playing in the white stuff, can snug it up on top of the foot if you need, and they are surprisingly comfortable. Feel very good and solid when walking around in them, and enough insulation to keep the feet from freezing.
So far, these are the best snow boots I've found in 25 years of adulthood...

Working in remote regions of Alaska for the last six years, these boots have served me well and I would gladly buy another pair if the first ever wears out. They've been put through test after test in temperatures below -40, in deep snow and slush, on gravel and even run over once and they are still waterproof and warm. They have excellent grip on glaze ice. The only time I even felt a little cold in them was after working outside in Barrow, Alaska when it was -35 and I was out for over four hours and although my toes were a bit chilly, my foot was safely warm and protected from frost bite. The fit is snug and the removable liner makes for easy cleaning and drying. Yes, I have to dry the liner from time to time when it is over +20 deg F because my feet get a little too warm and I sweat. Durable, sturdy, snug, warm, and dry.

These boots are perfect. Very warm and they have some serious traction on ice and snow. Great buy.

Husband needed snow boots. These sure fit the bill, but they were a bit of a shock; they're really technical-looking, almost cubical in shape (although lightweight for their bulk), with removable liners that look insulated enough for an expedition to the South Pole. Seriously warm. They tell you to judge the fit by the liner, curiously. Anyway, husband likes them (thought they looked cool), and they fit true to size. However, this is not a boot you could commute in and then leave on at work during the day; I imagine your feet would melt. (Plus you would walk like an astronaut.) For work apps, we also ordered overshoes to go over regular shoes.

I just got these boots. I spent 4 hours on the ice, fishing in 20 degree weather, and my feet never got cold. I wanted to test them out so I only wore regular socks and now I don't know what I'm going to do with all of my heavy winter socks. I couldn't recommend these enough.

These are great boots. Size was right, boots are very comfortable, warm but I do sweat in them. They are so worth the price.

I could not be happier with these boots. The price was great and they are super warm. I bought them for my son who is an Eagle Scout and does winter camping in WI (it is remarkably cold in WI). He says that his feet stay really warm.

My huband almost can't wear these as they make his feet almost too warm. We've had an unseasonably warm winter (many days in the +30-40s. I bought these for casual use for him (snow tubing, shoveling, etc.) In these tempature he complains that his feet get too warm. The other week when we had closer to winter weather (+10-20) we went snow tubing for several hours in slushy conditions. He loved them then. His feet stayed dry, they provided a good bit of traction. I've thrown them on to run out to the mail box a few times and I'm buying a pair for myself for next year as they're much warmer than my sketcher boots.

They are also easy to put on and seem to keep the snow out of your socks. As I said it's been a very warm winter and haven't had a huge amount of use of them...but that's mother nature's fault, not the boots.

These are some nice boots but were too small for my feet and had to return them. Never got them out into the cold. I always use a size 11 shoe and work boot. My old winter boots were also size 11. These however, were just too small, I would have to had a size 12. The construction looked top notch and would surely be extremely warm in the MN winters.
