I have owned the navigator 2 for about 2 1/2 yrs now. I'd never buy another. Within the last 8 months I had to replace the front wheel because the bearing went bad (no u can't just replace the bearings). Cost - $75.
Then the remote control went. Cost to replace - $170!!!!!!!!! ( for a remote? c'mon)
Now it won't power up. I've checked it out extensively and I THINK it's the control unit underneath that went bad. I can't even imagine what that would cost. I'm done sinking bucks into this money pit and I'll never buy a bag boy again.

I like to walk when I play golf, but carrying a bag can get tiresome - especially on a hilly course. The Bag Boy Navigator is a great cart - easy to control using the remote (the internal gyroscope helps it keep it's line even on uneven ground). it's much less tiring than lugging a bag for 18 holes! The downside is I tend to load up my bag with lots of stuff I don't need because I don't have to carry it!

The cart folds up and you can get it into a standard trunk if you need to transport it.

I have owned two Bag Boy Navigators (a 1 and a 2) plus four other remote control golf carts. I now own three remote control golf carts, as I play at two different courses, plus my wife uses the Navigator 2 (when it works). The Navigator guidance feature is essential if you play on a hilly course and it works beautifully. However, I have experienced what I believe are serious and dangerous design problems. My best guess is that Bag Boy does not filter out extraneous remote control signals and to my knowledge has no plans for correcting these problems. Examples: 1) Two Bag Boy Navigator 2's on the same day and at the same golf course died because circuits on their master controller board burned up. A replacement controller costs over $350. 2) At my course, on or near the same hole, my Navigator 2 starts going in circles and the remote control will do nothing to control or stop this weird behavior. 3) Several times when my cart was going up a hill it turned 'off' and the cart rolled back down the hill at a high speed. The remote control would not control the cart. This was a frightening and dangerous situation. In all of the above situations it seems that some other radio signal got control of the Navigator 2. Was it another cart controller, irrigation control electronics, security system, or something else? And is MGI, the Australian manufacturer of the product aware of these issues?

If you happen to own or are considering buying a Bag Boy Navigator, I recommend that you ask other owners about their experience with the service of the product. The company that services the machines has (I think) an exclusive agreement with Bag Boy and, consequently, has no competition. None.

Amazon deceived me. Originally, Amazon posted this cart at $169.95!!! I ordered this cart, as soon as it was posted. However, a week later, Amazon cancelled my order unilaterally, saying "Unfortunately, when we contacted our supplier, we found Bag Boy Navigator 2 Electric Push Cart (Silver) was no longer available." And then, funny thing, Amazon posted this cart again with different price. What is "no longer"?
I am assure that Amazon is bad company, just chasing the money, Amazon don't care about the trust with the customer. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, buy the product from Amazon.
