I had to write in because my experiences are completely different than the first reviewer. The bag isn't heavy at all. It has lots of pockets to keep different types of things organized. It's very roomy, but not too big, simultaneously. Plus, it's a great looking bag. I get lots of compliments and "where'd you get that"'s about the bag.

A friend used this bag on our last trip to Europe, so I got one for this trip. I spent the time to organize the bag beforehand, so I could practice using it and knowing where everything was stored. I was amazed at the stuff it held, and all I ended up adding in this bag. I could slide a long-sleeved tee in a pocket for when it got cool, my makeup in one pouch, my novel for the rides on the bus... It was endless. I didn't need to carry a wallet because of the front section zipper for money and spots for cards and my phone. There is a little attached purse I used for pills and contact lense stuff, and another attached cord on which I attach my keys, so I never lose them. I used it on my shoulder across my body for the trip, and as a backpack when it got heavier. Now that I am back to work, I can store my lunch in it, basic office supplies, makeup... It is great. It washes up very well, and still looks great. It is so light weight and I like the colors on the inside so things can be easily found inside. Best bag every. Makes a great graduation gift, high school or college. You'll love it.

I thought this bag was very high quality and really stylish! I disagree that it looks ugly as a backpack I wear mine as a backpack all the time and it looks cute.
I have already gotten so many compliments on this bag. I love that you get 3 styles in one! The bag is a bit on the heavy side only because I carry everything in it, from my wallet to books/notebooks and snacks.

I was a little surprised at the size when I got it. I worried that I wouldn't be able to fit everything in it that I needed. Which is why I had upgraded from their messenger bag. But everything fits! I was surprised at the weight of the fobs but honestly everything said and done, it's just a great usable bag. I am the mom of a toddler, but I also work full time, so I always have a diaper or two and wipes in my bag, some stuff for kiddie entertainment, and my moleskin calender and notebook. I-phone and various and other sundry items. IT ALL FITS! I am still in the perfecting stage of where everything goes because there are so many pockets and options, but it's just finetuning at this point. I've had it for a month now and I love it more every day. It's my second purchase from them and they have certainly earned brand loyalty from this customer.

I disagree with the previous review. I love this bag. I have the pewter color and it's bright yellow on the inside -- easier to find things than a bag with a black interior. Lots of zip pockets and places to put things. I don't think it looks silly at all as a backpack. I use it like that all the time to keep my hands free to carry other things.

What I like: so many pockets and compartments, adjustable straps, bright fabric in interior, outer fabric very durable, made well, lightweight.
What I would like to change: the lower buckel on each side of the bag seems unnecessary. The center prong sticks out. My husband had to use some tools and push it behind the actual buckle as it was a danger sticking out. I would attach the liner to the outer fabric. I do stuff my purse and sometimes when pulling out items the liner pulls out. I would like a key fob - just a simple ring inside to attach keys near the top of the bag on one side instead of the long strap and small coin purse attached.
That said, I do like the features of this bag. I wanted a bag with adjustble straps that I could wear as a backpack when necessay. It fit my requirements and I have been happy with the performance except for the annoying buckle mentioned above, for which I found a solution. The other issues I can live with.

Took this bag to Europe with me. Found it very useful- seperate compartments for tickets and passports. An easy front entry pocket for phone, pens credit cards. And nice back pocket where I kept the crown jewels. My husband didn't mind carrying as a backpack when needed too

I bought this purse for a ten day trip to Eastern Europe and it was outstanding. The backpack option is great for carrying heavy items while walking. When I was in museums and other places where backpacks were not allowed, I switched to the shoulder bag and never was questioned. When I tried to wear it in as a backpack they made me check it. It did well in rain and heat. I always carry a big purse, but this really held a lot, and has lots of good compartments to put things in. I wish it were a little bigger (but I always wish purses were a little bigger), and I could do without the decorative buckles which add weight. Other than that -- a perfect travel purse.

Lots of space. Love the pocket in the back. It makes for easy access to keys or whatnots instead of getting into the bag. Lots of ways to adjust the bag ie over shoulder, cross body, backpack.

This bag was exactly what I hoped it was and more! I just came back from a two week trip and the fact that I could wear this bag as a cross body, shoulder or back pack was invaluable. All of the interior and exterior pockets and zipper compartments kept things very organized and now that I'm home, I'm still using it every day! This is one fantastic bag for the active traveler. Don't think twice.............buy it! The hardest decision will be which color to go with.
