just received this bag- i have spent a fortune before now trying to find a bag that isn't too heavy, too big, yet wide enough to let me carry my ipad around with me and still have room for a nail file. Oh and it also had to have a crossbody strap because i don't want to kill my shoulder. This bag is IT- i wish there were more colors so i could buy 5 more! I was afraid it would be ugly when it arrived, but not so. If you are on the go and have to carry things for other people (husbands, kids), and don't want to look like you are carrying luggage this is it- you will not regret purchasing this bag.- this is my first review of anything, but i am just so happy with it!

Start by saying I am a big baggallini fan because everything they do is well organized and designed for function. This is my new travel bag as it holds my Ipad, Iphone, Kindle and everything I need with me on a plane. Not overly large but extremely roomy. I travel with carry-on only when I fly. Have small rolling case and this bag and find I can stay anywhere for up to a week without having to check bags. As I don't like large bags for everyday use take small baggallini sicily bag in suitcase to use when I arrive. Looking forward to putting MANY miles on this great bag.

I give this product 4.5 stars overall..

The Khaki color I picked was not what I expected. I did not want anything too bright or too dark, so I thought this would work. It looks more like a light colored bag that got really dirty somewhere along the way. Not enough of a detraction to make me return the bag however.

Organization of this bag is awesome. Lots of pockets, lots of room for everything. What surprised me is that even when I loaded it up with two small tupperware conatiners, an ipad, a nook, wristlet, and small knick-knacks, the bag never bulked up. It was heavy, but it didn't feel or look bulky.

The zippers on the bag are my biggest disappointment - they just feel like run of the mill cheap zippers. Using YKKs would have made a huge difference. Also this bag has no "feet" on the bottom, so placing it on the floor WILL get it dirty.

The only other *tiny* gripe I have is that I am unable to use one hand to zip/unzip the outer compartments (the main one on top, the little one in front, the two angled ones in front, nor the longer straight one in back). This could just be due to the nature of the bag's size, but having to use two hands to wrestle with the zipper to get to my keys is mildly annoying.

Also, I have yet to use the cross body strap, but it was a nice inclusion.

This is a very solid product. It doesn't scream luxury or style, but it is very functional, practical, and I am happy with my purchase.

I absolutely LOVE this bag. I let it sit in my cart for a while before I bought it because I just wasn't sure whether I'd like it enough to spend the money for it. Was it going to be too big? Heavy? Not attractive enough? Would the material make it look cheap? The reviews about the bag were the only reason I kept it in my cart. I liked the way it looked in the picture, and I liked how functional it appeared. I finally decided to do it because I really needed something practical. I just bought an i-Pad mini and saw the pocket built into the bag, which was yet another motivation for me to buy the bag. I got the bag (one day after I placed my order!), and WOW! Not only is it beautiful, but it is perfectly functional and lightweight, too. The balance is very comfortable when I'm carrying it fully loaded, and I love the shoulder and hand straps. The material is sturdy and attractive, and the bag is 1000 times nicer than it looks in the picture. I highly recommend this bag and am so glad I finally decided to buy it!

I've heard Baggallinis are excellent purses for schlepping things, and I am a schlepper. I wanted a bag that could be used cross-body, as my previous one got heavy after a while and caused my shoulder to ache. There is plenty of room inside, including a padded pocket for a tablet. I use it for my e-reader, however the pocket doesn't fit my 10.1" netbook. Inside, there are organizing pockets. I love the pen loops, since I always lost pens in the bottom of my purse or a random pocket; now they are easily at hand. There is a very roomy zippered pocket inside, big enough for my fat wallet and checkbook. There are also credit card organizers and a pocket which, I assume, is for a cellphone. It comes with a pouch/wallet which attaches to the inside purse by a clip. On the outside front, there is one large pocket with two sideways zippers, a smaller zippered pocket and on the back is another small zippered pocket.

However, the Baggallini lost one star because of three things it's missing: 1) it does not have an open pocket anywhere on the bag. I like having an open pocket to sling my cellphone in; that way I don't have to struggle with unzipping anything when answering a call. 2) It doesn't have metal studs on the bottom to protect the bag from soiling. 3) It doesn't easily stand up on its own. It's very narrow, which makes it less like a football under your arm, but the downside is that it isn't very balanced and can easily fall over.

Despite these three complaints, I still am very impressed with the Baggallini's immense space and well organized insides. It's even a light color so you can see the contents! And it is very light; the cross-body option allows me to ease the bag off my shoulder and keep my hands free.

If you're worried about the way it looks, the black color looks professional and fashionable, although in a kind of sporty or utilitarian way.

Initially, my expectations of a nylon bag couldn't have been any more impassive: I didn't expect much from the material. I thought the bag was either going to be too soft, or too rough and heavy. But, the look and style was too attractive for me to pass up so I took the risk of buying.

The bag arrived intact, but more importantly, it was beautiful and surprisingly high in quality. The fabric had the right amount of softness and structure. The black color was nice and clean: just a brilliant black. Even though I read the dimensions and saw pictures, I was happy to see that the bag wasn't as huge as I worried it might be. I saw image close-ups, but the pictures don't do it justice. The pockets are many and clever. There is also a padded tablet pocket inside with a velcro tab. There is no primary partition on the inside, and the bag is just roomy and open in the middle.

The bag fits a lot of stuff. The fixed handles are long and sturdy for shoulders, and the adjustable cross-body strap is useful for commuting or when you just need a free hand (or two). The bag doesn't look as luggage-y as it seems in the picture. It feels like an everyday bag. So far, it's served me well.

I love this brand and I love this bag! It holds my iPad or Kindle secure in the bag, and the bag is very light weight when empty. It has plenty of pockets on the outside for keys, phone, train schedules or whatever. I have the Khaki color and the inside is a light blue which makes everthing easier to find. For me, a great bag and great purchase.

Light weight, room for everything, easy to carry, and looks great. I used it for a vacation and it was a lifesaver. Highly recommend it for travel or everyday use if you like to be sure you have everything you might possibly need, but still not have a stuffed bag look. This is my fourth baggallini and I love them all.

Great for travel. My ipad has a cover which did not fit into the section for the IPad . 2nd generation kindle fit fine.

This has been the perfect bag for me. Love that I can keep my iPad in its own spot. Love all the different pockets to store stuff!
