I bought an ipad recently particularly to help me at work and wanted a shoulder bag that was versatile enough to serve as a handbag on its own and hold my ipad so i didn't need another briefcase. Even with the ipad in it I can still fit my sunglasses or a few other things.I've been trying to avoid leather and I love how lightweight it is. The pockets are just right to hold my cell, wallet and keys. It came in many cool colors ( I chose mushroom). I've had it for about a month now and continue to be very happy with this purchase. Several people have asked me where i got it and commented on how great a bag design it is..

This bag has replaced my briefcase! It's lightweight, functional, and has made my weekly travel much more pleasant. The iPad fits nicely in the rear exterior slide pocket which also makes it easily accessible. Front pockets accommodate my blackberry, pens and keys and there is ample room in the center compartment for everything else I need! The included wallet also keeps my ID handy and easy to remove for airport security. The adjustable strap is also convenient for cross-body carriage or to use as a shoulder bag. This is not a "girly" purse, but it certainly is perfect for my travel needs!

The Metro Bag by Baggallini is well made. It's sturdy and it looks nice. It's great for traveling. It holds many items including 2 eye glass cases.

I have tried every purse imaginable. In fact I bought another purse right before I found this one. I love this bag for most everything. This is the first of its kind that I have purchased. I love the lightweight. I can fit my Kindle in it also. I like the back magnet compartment to hold lists etc. I like that it has the small wallet for my ID and money. I have tried putting my charge cards and other cards in the slots for them inside the bag, but when I get to the store, I cannot pull them out or see them. I think it should have the zipper come all the way down the sides to be able to see the cards. I now have to carry amother small wallet just to grab my credits quicker.

I carry my iPad in a padded neoprene case and it just squeeks in - case and all. It doesn't leave much room inside for anything else, but the exterior pockets give plenty of space for incidentals. The bag comes with a permanently attached interior strap for keys, PLUS a detachable coin purse which could be tucked inside the back pocket for quick accessibility. Be aware, it says the shoulder strap is detachable but since it's stitched on, the only way you could detatch it is with scissors. This is my fourth Baggallini bag and each style has given me outstanding performance. They are lightweight and rugged and last for years.

The Baggallini Metro Bag is perfect for my iPad and iPhone. I have been looking for the perfect bag to carry my electronics around that didn't look like a messenger bag or a briefcase and the Metro Bag from Baggallini is just perfect. Everything is organized and is plenty roomy. My iPad fits in either the interior section or the big pocket on the back of the bag. It is very stylish and comfortable either on the shoulder or cross body style. I only just received it and every time I use it I get compliments on the bag. A couple of my friends have even ordered themselves this very same bag. It is perfect for work, travel, or just every day use. I bought the Pewter and I'm thinking about purchasing another one in a different color.

I discovered Baggalinis a few years ago, and I was intrigued by the fact that they're designed by flight attendants. My only knock on the one already own was that it is too small. I bought this one on Amazon after seeing it in a travel store for $30 more. I bought it to take to Disneyland; I have to have my purse with me, but a heavy bag in an amusement park gets to be a burden. I was delighted by this purse. It's made of nylon, so it's light. There is a lot more room than it looks like in the picture. You have a cellphone pocket, a zippered camera pocket (which I found was really good for keys or cards), and a zippered pocket across the bottom which is great for pens. There is an open pocket on the back which has a strong magnet to keep it closed. Inside was plenty of room for wallet, checkbook, clutch (which I use for frequent shopper cards), and toiletries. The strap adjusts so a woman of any size can wear it as a sling bag, a shoulder bag, or carry bag. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have something on the strap that you can slide around to keep it on your shoulder. I wore it across my chest (because the nylon does slip at times as a shooulder bag), and the strap irritated my neck at times. Other than that, I'm very happy with it.

Sorry to find this bag completely misses the target. The size would be good for small net book or ipad. But it is too narrow-needs a wider bottom-base to hold that and other typical bag items. It has tons of pockets. But when the pockets are filled (even with small slender stuff) its impossible to reach down into the center opening of the bag. If the fabric were lighter or stretchy this wouldn't be a problem. But the bag is very stiff and suprisingly heavy even when empty. I regret this purchase very much. Even when I tried many different adjustments to cope-its unworkable. Bag is now heading off to Goodwill- maybe someone else can use it. mj

I'm an organizational nut and looked for YEARS to get a good, durable, practical, pragmatic purse/hand bag. I finally saw Baggallini bags at a botique and have been hooked by them ever since.

Having owned several, I will say that this one - the Metro Bagg - is my favorite. Sunglasses, keys, phone, cosmetics, pens, change, insurance cards, etc. all have their place. I also like that there is a back side panel (with strong magnet) to place papers in. This is really handy when I have receipts, maps, hand outs, programs, etc. that I don't want to carry. I also like the adjustable shoulder strap, which allows me to carry this slung over my shoulder.

This is not your "bling bag"...but cute for us professional mommy or nerdy types. I have had so many women say, "Oh, I like your bag - I wish I could give up my big one for something like that..." and I say, "You can - and your shoulders will thank you!" :)

So, if you're worried about what your friends, neighbors, and sisters-in-law will think of your purse, this is not the one. If you like to step out of the house ultra-organized, this is THE bag.

Oh, and it's washable on cold delicate. Nice.

Was not initially sure of all the pockets, but really like the organization it provides. Also, on the inside there are zipper pockets on both sides, as well as a few other slots for other items, and pens.
This is not as big as my last bag ( that I had for ~6 years) but VERY pleased with the material and ease of use, and comfort in wearing. Definately recommend this.
