Rock and Gaelic folk music with a twist, this CD is absolutely a thrill every cut. From Queen's 'We Will Rock You' and Jimmy Hendrick's 'Voodoo Child' to the 'Pig Jig' this music will keep your feet hopping.
Red Hot Chilli Pipers have caught the eye of the British Isles and have become a top draw to any event they appear. The energy level and the talent of these guys is second to none.

Traditional bagpipes meets Rock!!

I always wondered why no one played the bagpipe like any other musical instruments. It may have taken a genius to notice that bagpipe sounds like an electric guitar but now the genie is out of the bottle. The album is beautifully produced, and is a lot of fun. I play it all the time and I am going to play it now. ENJOY

Excellent CD. I saw the group live this past September, so was motivated to buy a CD for myself and one for a gift. I have not been disappointed. The CD is almost as good as seeing the group live. What fun! If ever the reader of this review has an opportunity to see this group, they will have the entertainment pleasure of a lifetime! I look forward to collecting the rest of the CDs from this group!

One Sunday I was scanning the TV for something beside news and talking head shows, and I happened upon what I at first, was the group "Red Hot Chili Peppers" OK so my eyesight needs to be re-checked!!! I'll give you that!

I stopped for a minute since I love Bagrock and soon realized my mistake, but I became enchanted with the sound and the power behind this group. Right now my Bagrock selection is this CD and the group Celtic ArmadilloOff Kilter the Live Tracks which I had the good fortune to see live and quite by accident at Disney. I have a passion for all things Kilted, so I dove in and purchased it - "Bagrock to the Masses" and I'm so glad I did. There renditions of both the classic Scottish tunes and the freakishly manic renditions of classic rock is quite appealing. The sound quality of this CD was quite good both in my car and on my home system as well as on my laptop which I use while I pump out my work. Actually this is the perfect blend of music to listen to while you pump up your body at the gym too!

I am off to buy another of their albums. Oh, and for some reason this kind of music drives my husband nuts so another check mark in the plus column... *just kidding*

As a matter of fact if anyone reads this review and can recommend some more Bagrock for me I sure would appreciate it if you would leave me a comment!

I am glad that I found this band. I love bagpipes but, not the traditional music and this is a great new sound. They are such talented musicians. Have you ever tried to play bagpipes??? Looking forward to buying another CD.

Unique and different. Love this group and love their new their CD, it's almost as good as being there.

Great CD-haven't heard such great bagpipe rock since the buskers festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Didn't realize the pipers were in Hartford CT (Pipes in the Valley) until after I had already had plans for the evening. 2011 will be another story. I look foward to any new CDs that the Pipers have coming and would definitely recommend their music to anyone that likes bagpipe music with a kick (of the kilt). Rock on.

It's great to hear bagpipes in rock music. The Red Hot Chilli Pipers are fantastic - wish they had more music out in CDs.
