I was a little skeptical about ordering a sleeve that costed more than a whole carry case at my local retail store, but I can definitely say that this is one of the coolest sleeves I've seen for a laptop.
I like to take very good care of my PowerBook and I can say that I am completely satisfied. The sleeve has a material inside which reminds me of a stress relieving ball. When you put pressure on it it slowly takes the form of the object pushing against it. And when released the sleeve slowly goes back to it's original flat surface. This obviously helps absorb shocks taken by the sleeve.
The Rebound case doesn't make the overall size of the PowerBook much bigger, and my 15" PowerBook fits perfectly in this sleeve first, and then I can put it into my bookbag.
You can also easily open the case and work with your PowerBook still inside it, with the only bad thing thing being that you can't connect cables as the case covers all the sides of the PowerBook perfectly when it's still in it.
You might also think that you could scratch your PowerBook with the sleeve's zippers, but it has a small protective part (don't know what you call it) that makes that kind hard to unintentionally do.
If you're looking for this sleeve's only disadvantage, it's that it only carries your PowerBook with no cables or accesories (adapter, mouse, CDs, etc.) It's not a replacement for your carry case or backpack. It's more like an addition to either one since it doesn't have a handle either. I'd definitely recommend anyone looking for a sleeve to buy this one, even if you already have a carry case, because of the protection it provides.
I find it strange that I'm the first one to review this product. II really did like it and find it to be a very good way to take care of your PowerBook.

I bought same sleeve but from a different store for my 13 inch macbook. I was looking for something that would provide some protection with a good design.

1. No questions about the protection, I think this is one of the best sleeves for protection. This is why i wanted to buy one in the first place. I really like internal design of the sleeve because it provides protection from the zipper.
2. Design of the sleeve is surprisingly nice. Initially I was looking for something nice and simple, this sleeve is simple but does have a little extra design features in appearance and it looks good.

The only thing is that this sleeve appears slightly bigger/thicker than other basic sleeves, probably because of extra protection. But just slightly, it still fits very nicely in my backpack and doesn't appear bulky at all!!! Just in comparison, it is slightly ticker, which shouldn't be a problem. I was also skeptical about the color before I bought it, mine came in grey. I didn't think that would I like the color, but it actually looks good, i like it! One more thing, this sleeve actually looks more expensive in appearance.

Also, even though my laptop fits nicely in this bag, it has more room to move around in the bag than i like.

The product lives up to its description. The material is very protective. I would say it's like a thick sponge that absorbs the shock. However, the zipper sticks a lot and after using the product I realized I would have liked one that had a handle and a pouch to carry things attached to it. But my 15" powerbook does fit perfectly inside.
