* The Bahá'í World Center

About the Author:

Sara Clarke-Habibi has been a Bahá'í since 1993. A Canadian by origin, she has had the opportunity to serve the Bahá'í Faith in Canada, Israel, Zambia, and Switzerland. Sara is mother to two young children, whose own developmental needs inspired the preparation of the Bahá'í Children's Workbook. Professionally, Sara is a specialist in peace education, and in the preparation of curricula and learning resources for teachers and students.

Sara writes: "I had lots of fun creating the book! Shortly after my first daughter was born, I was looking for Baha'i resources for children. I found there were lots of stories and other things for children to listen to, but not so much for them to do themselves. So that's when The Baha'i Children's Workbook started to take shape. My hope is that families and children's classes benefit from using it!"

Fantastic workbook for teaching my first grader about the Baha'i Faith! We live in an area where there is only one other Baha'i and he is a new one as well, so I bought this book to begin going over things with my six year old and it is working out well!! Love it :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Children's Workbook, December 27, 2008
This review is from: Baha'i Children's Workbook (Paperback)
Sara Habibi's workbook has been an excellent resource for working with my Baha'i daughters age 8 and 10. Each day we do a few pages together using the content of the workbook both as a source of information and as a stimulus for discussion that allows us to explore the history and issues more fully.
I would not recommend it as a book children just go through on their own but as something to work through slowly with a parent or teacher it is a fabulous fabulous tool and I am immensely grateful to Sara Habibi. It is just what I have been looking for/wanting to create for a long time.
Thank you
