I ordered the 500-Gram Bahama Chaise Cover for a gift for Christmas. I had researched the item so I was familiar with the product. However, when I received my order of two towels in the Beach Sand color, one was of good quality, plush, and the other was of a lesser pile. I returned the one of lesser quality and Amazon was prompt to replace it. However, it was just exactly like the one I returned. The information numbers were the same on all of the items. I kept them even though one has a lot less pile than the other.

July, 2010.HORRIBLE QUALITY!!!!!!! I bought 8 Bahama Towel Chaise Covers(500 Gram instead of the 380 Gram) and paid to have another company monogram them for a beach house in Costa Rica. The first day we used them on our lounge chairs, it rained and the dye in the chaise covers faded blue all over our chairs and STAINED them! We were lucky we did not sit on them wet, as they would have ruined our bathing suits,too. I then washed them twice to try to remedy the situation. The covers came out with pill balls all over them! The quality is HORRIBLE!!!! I am trying to reach customer support, but the email address bounced back. I called them and waited on hold from Costa Rica for 20 minutes, before hanging up. Please don't put yourself in this situation as I did and buy anything from THE Bahama Towel Company.

The towels seems constructed well but the material is very scratchy.
No plushness more like motel / gym towel. I would not have purchased it if I saw it and felt the material in a store.
