I had hopes for these pruners but I really can't see where they have any advantage over Felco's other than price. Pros are they are cheap, the spring stays in place, the latch is simple to use, smaller than the small Felco's and stay in adjustment far longer. Cons are they are decidedly less comfortable, have a weaker pivot angle, have a weaker spring (frequently don't return) and the plastic parts are very thin. Mine already have holes in them after less than 6 months of moderate use. Noticeable is the blade is quite large relative to the handles. I can't quite figure out why as they don't have the strength to handle the blade size and the result is poor balance and difficulty getting into tight spaces that don't require a powerful pruner.

All in all I still use them because I'm pruning very fibrous plants (bamboos and palms) and my collection of Felco's (I've been using Felco's for almost 40 years) are a pain dealing with anything fibrous. I did replace all the blades on my Felco's and do find myself using the Bahco's less and less. I also continue to search for a better pruner than the Felco's which have a host of negatives (springs popping off, inability to maintain blade adjustment, difficult to use latch when wearing gloves, expensive). While the Bahco's solve many of these issues, they introduce others.
