What is required to come through the crisis and achieve balance., June 15, 2009
This review is from: Bail Yourself Out: How You Can Emerge Strong from the World Crisis (Mass Market Paperback)
This is a wonderful story and a step by step guide to attaining reality, true perception and finding the meaning of life. Bail Yourself Out explains what is required to come through the crisis we face - any crisis actually - and that is unity and collaboration.
Delving into the deeper meaning of give and take as a way of life and showing that nature uses this method to achieve balance puts emphasis on the very real need society has for this same balance.
Especially interesting to me was how Abraham identified and investigated the lack of unity while a citizen of Babel, the results of his efforts and the realization that unity is the only path to salvation.
At first reading the solution to the crisis seemed simple, give and take, not difficult. However, the concept is so foreign to human beings, in order to implement this concept it takes practice, concentration and determination.
When viewed through the lens of friends caught in a difficult situation, unity and working together to the goal becomes less an individual task and evolves into a team of likeminded friends. This, I think, is the true meaning of unity.
The author shows how the wisdom of Abraham's discoveries about unity, give and take and nature in balance is a lesson reserved for our time. It's apparent we must achieve this balance in order to make it through the crisis. Bail Yourself Out is a book that describes how this can be done.

A unique perspective on how to respond to financial woes, September 14, 2009
This review is from: Bail Yourself Out: How You Can Emerge Strong from the World Crisis (Mass Market Paperback)
Professor of Ontology (with a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Kabbalah) Michael Laitman presents Bail Yourself Out: How You Can Emerge Strong from the World Crisis, a unique self-help guide written in response to the current global economic crisis... emphasizing that the root of the crisis is not financial, but rather psychological. When people have too little trust in each other, trade and credit markets freeze up, replaced by isolation, paralysis, and in extreme cases, economic collapse. Furthermore, Laitman asserts that this epidemic of mistrust stems from a natural process that has been evolving over millennia. Therefore, the key to resolving economic woes is to first understand the process that has fomented such alienation, by drawing upon all available mans of communication (books, TV, internet, newspapers, public libraries) and then revamping one's relationships. The bedrock of justified trust is built from collaboration and compassion, traits that need to be cultivated in oneself and others in order to promote economic as well as psychological well-being. A unique perspective on how to respond to financial woes, Bail Yourself Out is highly recommended as a useful self-help supplement to books that focus solely on financial nuts and bolts.

A survival guide for an integral reality, September 19, 2011
This review is from: Bail Yourself Out: How You Can Emerge Strong from the World Crisis (Mass Market Paperback)
Dr. Laitman has written a wonderful book that tackles all aspects of human life today. The goal of the text is to introduce the reader to the idea of a person coming into balance with others and nature. The text seems especially relevent today with all the different global crises in the world today(economics, ecology, education, culture).
The book is very easy to read and also not too long but packed inside those pages is helpful instruction for how to formulate a person's life, and society, to be in balance.
I can't recommend it highly enough. It is a wonderful eye opener into the possibilities of where humanity should head in this new globalized and integral world we all live in.
