You will want to see these guys live once you own the CD; when they come to your town, don't miss them. Each track is swingin' in its own way, and I have a tough time picking my favorite. Definitely worth checking out.

These guys are great. I never have gotten to see them live but I would in a heartbeat. I could listen to my cd over and over and not get tired of them. I am going to buy thier new cd now.

BOTH OF THEIR DCs ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY. I HAVE SEEN THESE GUYS LIVE TWICE AND THEY ARE INCREDIBLE. THEY REALLY ENJOY WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND HAVE CREATED SUCH A UNIQUE SOUND, ONCE YOU HEAR THEM, YOU WILL HOOKED. IF YOU EVER HEAR THEY ARE COMING TO YOUR TOWN, MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO GO. Wow!!!!! These guys are great. This is not a bunch of commercial junk, this is Rock-a-Billy at it's best. I have not played a CD over and over like this in years. I just don't get tired of these guys. In fact I just ordered The Cigar Store Indian's first CD and I understand that they have a new live release coming out soon (10-12-01 I think)and I plan on getting that one as well.
These guys put on one of the best, fun-filled shows that you will ever see and I strongly recomend that the next time these guys come to town that you check them out. They have fun and it shows, whether you see them live or listen to one of their recordings.

About 10 years ago a friend and I went down to hilton head island to celebrate his 21st birthday. So as you can imagine...many bars were closed by us. Anyway, we stumbled into a hotel bar one night as we had heard, from the street mind you, an incredible sound coming from this place. When we walked in their was a barmaid, and one other customer in the place...practically empty. Except for this band on stage and playing away as if there was a full house. We sat down and ordered our drinks and listened to these fellas play ALL NIGHT! They were amazing! When they FINALLY put their instruments down we bought a round of drinks for them. We sat and talked about the plans for the big time. I told them if and when they put an album out I'd be first in line. But as you can guess...time slipped away and I lost track of these talented guys. But what a surprise! I've found them again AND they have two albums out!! So without even listening to the tracks...I've purchased both...so should you.

I bought this for the song, "Get On The Throttle", but after a couple of listens I liked every track as much, or more, than my original favorite. These guys are great. If you like this style of music, you will not be disappointed!

I still have yet to play this CD for anyone who hasn't wanted to buy a copy themselves afterwards. This is some absolutely great music. Songwriting, arrangemnt, musicianship, its all anyone could ask for. What amazes me is how seemingly unknown this fanatastic band is! Who is their record company? These guys are fantastic and I only stumbled across this album because they were doing a show down south of us and I wanted to check them out. Without a dooubt the best unknown band I've ever heard.

The nicest guys in the business. I saw them play at a free show in NYC, and they put on a great show despite there only being a dozen or so people there to see them.

The CD is good too--they mix a healthy dose of rockabilly and counrty with a dash of surf. You should buy this album.

Absolutely on fire, gentlemen!! Got it on a Monday, memorized it by Friday, and it honestly hasn't left my frequent-listen stack since I got it. Whether you want to cut the floor up, swoon your favorite darlin', or laugh/cry over a couple of ... This is the album. Incredible writing and performing. Well done!! Looking forward to the next one. Oh... get back to Minneapolis, will ya?
