Hailing from the South as I do, I would like for people from other regions to know that there are many dishes so delicious in their ingredients and preparation that any aspiring cook at any level can master and enjoy.Lee Bailey's Southern Food And Plantation Houses Lee Bailey captures the essence of truly gourmet food that even many people from the South have not experienced. Please do yourself a favor and sample some of Lee Bailey's cuisine. It is absolutely the most tantalizing and delectable of all forms of cooking no matter where you hang your hat. If you have never tasted okra the way it should be cooked, you are really missing a treat that is not "slimy" and tasteless. Lee Bailey proves this point over and again. This is one of the best cookbooks I own and would recommend it to everyone whether you are a Yankee Doodle or from Dixie.
