I saw David Bowers on television and at a book signing. He has the great ability to share humorous stories while discussing the ins and out of cooking hearty dishes. I really enjoyed this book especially the sandwich recipes and the jambalaya!

This book is so much fun! The recipes are for just the kind of things guys like to cook--they involve fun, tasty foods and lots of gadgets--and the writing is a riot. I can't wait to bring my blow torch up from the cellar so I can make creme brulee.

Recipes for Bread, Beer, Beef, and hot and spicy foods. Just what the doctor ordered. Now I need to find a cleaver.

My father cooks, my brother-in-law cooks and my nephew cooks. My dad first read this in the local library; Muskingum County Library System. He absolutely wanted this and he thought this would be good-great for his nephews. So I brought several to give out as Christmas gifts. It is wonderful. And, I will absolutely going to buy other books that this author has written.
