5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous!
This is actually the second pan I've ordered of this type. Once I used the first one I had to get another one post haste! It's just amazing. When they say "non-stick" they really mean it. It cleans up in seconds. Every section cooks evenly. My banana bread comes out perfect everytime.

Non-stick is great until you discover the banana bread you've been feeding your toddler has pretty silver flakes all over it... I'll look for some other brand for the third set.

1.0 out of 5 stars owned for 3 months and used less than 10 times, August 9, 2006
This review is from: Baker's Secret 116472302 Basics Nonstick Petite Loaf Pan (Kitchen)
The nonstick came off on my loaves. GROSS. It's too late to return this so I am boycotting Baker's Secret products but not World Kitchen, the parent company, because they are also do Pyrex and just sold me their storageware lids for my anchor hocking milk glass cups.

I deleted my earlier positive review and I reget persuading anyone to buy this product. I need to remember to avoid all nonstick metal products.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dangerous - Coating Flakes Off, February 26, 2009

I really liked these at first. I haven't had the pan long but this last use I noticed the coating come off in LARGE flakes. I used it to make mini meat loaves - no tomato sauce so I'm not sure what would cause this to occur. I love the shape and size, but this is extremely dangerous especially for children. I will be purchasing Williams Sonoma Gold Touch pans instead. They have spectacular reviews and while pricey, I don't think I'll have the same problem occur.

1.0 out of 5 stars Nonstick coating is not durable, September 17, 2009

After about a year, the coating started flaking off. Size is great for single servings, but the durability or lack thereof is making me look elsewhere for a replacement.

2.0 out of 5 stars Non-stick coating flakes off, April 8, 2010
This review is from: Baker's Secret 116472302 Basics Nonstick Petite Loaf Pan (Kitchen)
This is a fun product at first. Mine lasted about two years before the non-stick coating started coming off in big flakes. I was conscientious about cleaning the pans only with a nylon scrubby and I never used metal utensils to remove the bread from the pans. Always hand washed, no dishwasher. Now my two pans will serve as parts sorting bins in my husband's shop, because that's all they're good for. I'm disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Inaccurate Picture!, February 14, 2009
This review is from: Baker's Secret 116472302 Basics Nonstick Petite Loaf Pan (Kitchen)
The picture of this item is not accurate as the product has changed.
It is more like a non-stick "teflon" now.
I have 10 (5 older ones, 5 of the newer ones) of these pans that I use for a small commercial baking company. I bake with them 5 nights a week.
The older (what is pictured) pans had a coating where it will wear away, but we've only had that problem in a couple of the individual sections, and with a lot of heavy use.
We still use a non-stick spray.
The underside is a bit difficult to clean, we have a build up of the non-stick spray from where the spray leaks between the individual pans and the pan 'frame'. Each individual pan has been 'crimped' into the frame.
I haven't found anything I like better for the cost!

We bought this item in a hope to cut down out meatloaf baking time and it does just that. It also allows us to customize each loaf to the particular tastes of our children or guests. The non-stick surface really works well. Can't wait to try it on individual bread loaves.

4.0 out of 5 stars SURPRISINGLY PLEASED!, April 6, 2007
By
This review is from: Baker's Secret 116472302 Basics Nonstick Petite Loaf Pan (Kitchen)
Purchased product for $6.45 and have no complaints. The mini breads slid right out of pans after baking with non-stick spray. Searched a long
time for a reasonably priced mini loaf pan to try, since I was very unhappy with my farberware.

4.0 out of 5 stars loaf pan, March 8, 2007
This review is from: Baker's Secret 116472302 Basics Nonstick Petite Loaf Pan (Kitchen)
I just love the little loaf pan. I just love how easy it was to clean too. I do alot of bread making and I love that I can use the pan and make small ones so we can enjoy them for lunches.
