Very informative and entertaining. I liked the "down home" stories and practical advise. Growing my own fruits and vegetables is very important in my attempt to establish a more self sufficient lifestyle. This book is a very enjoyable read from start to finish. Finding answers is also quick and easy. I'm looking forward to trying some of the tonics and also buying more of Mr. Bakers books.

Great book with a lot of sound advice. The tonics work really well on the new seedlings we planted.

Love this book. It's simple gardening and lets you pursue organic gardening with common sense and things you have around the house.

I checked this book out at the library for 2 months and decided I had to own it.

In these days when everyone seems to want to grown their own food, and grow it organically, Jerry Baker is a big help. Not all of his suggestions worked perfectly, but I'm willing to try this stuff first before resorting to harsher chemicals and poisons.

The only book you will ever need. I own lots of garden books (including other Jerry Baker books) but this one, is one I refer to all the time. I've given this book as a gift to many people & they all agree. The secret to my green thumb.

I have been able to treat a lot of the challenges from poor soil condition to bugs and viruses on my brand new and very first attempt to grow a vegetable garden using the suggestions and solutions in this book. It has been a real eye opener for me how most of the challenges from pest control to soil treatment have proven and simple solutions using common and safe household remedies!

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to grow a great garden the natural way.

Not only is the information incredibly helpful, it's layout is in a scrapbook format. You can browse and get the tips and points you need without reading line, after line, after line. Very friendly and humorously written. Jerry Baker's passion for gardening is contagious and this book makes it fun.
