Lorraine Pascale is the author of four bestselling UK cookbooks, Baking Made Easy, Home Cooking Made Easy, Fast, Fresh, & Easy, and most recently, A Lighter Way to Bake, and is the host of three hit BBC2 television cooking shows. A top international fashion model, she was first British black model on the cover of American Elle. She has a double degree in International Culinary Arts in Pastry and Culinary Arts Management encompassing international gastronomy, food policy and microbiology, and has cooked for some of the most renowned kitchens of the world, including Petrus, The Mandarin Oriental, Gilgamesh and The Wolseley. She lives in London with her daughter.

I used to see her tv shows and I loved the recipes!!She is super enthusiastic on Tv but the book did not had the same impact on me..I think it lacks photos, also the book is not divided by starters, main dishes, deserts..It's a bit of a mess, no sense of any kind of organization, so it's not easy to find what you want. Also I think that it has too many desert recipes, around 70% of the book. The main dishes recipes do not use much variety of products, nothing really new and exciting. If you like to cook on a daily bases deserts this can be a great book for you, delicious deserts! However I bought this book to use it for my daily meals, so I am limited to half a dozen recipes of main dishes. I have the book for 2 weeks and despite cooking everyday I did not tried any recipe yet. Must confess that it disappointed me. Despite the cover looks beautiful I judge a book beyond the cover...

This cook book is not only filled with the most delicious recipes in simple words but it is also a beautiful book to look at. It is a book for all us food lovers and home chefs with easy to make recipes. It also makes a beautiful gift to give someone.

I've seen her cook on her TV show. Tried many of the recipes. I like her style of cooking and enjoyed her book very much.
