My boys wanted these for Christmas. The Bakugan craze is the best thing to exist. I never really knew about this toy until I took my boys to the Bakugan tournament. This toy is very educational. They have to use proper etiquette in playing with each other and they have to use their minds for which cards to play. The best educational thing about this product ~ they have to continuously add and subtract big numbers to keep their scores. I'm impressed.

Buyer beware - I bought this item for my son at much less than the price current on Amazon. He is happy with it but I think it is way overpriced for what it is. All it is is a cheap plastic calculator that the child wears on their wrist with a cheap plastic band that barely holds it in place, and a place to insert a few cards. They feature it in the cartoon so of course all the kids now want it. I gave it 3 stars for educational since I suppose he's doing some math with the calculator. Don't pay $40.00 for this item, you will be unhappy you did.

Of all the Bakugan "stuff" this one just missed. He played with it once or twice and never again ...and it cost a lot! Save your money and buy the Maxus Dragonoid, or something that gets serious playtime. Plus, from a parental standpoint, the calculator ends up canceling out the one great educational element of playing Bakugan - doing all the math.

I do not understand anything about Bakugan however, my 6 year old fully understands the toy and was delighted on Christmas morning. In the end thats all that matters!

Bought this as a Christmas present for my son and he was happy to get it until we took it out of the package. He was very upset that it turned out to be a caculator since he has those already and the commercial for this toy doesn't say that which he remembered. The plastic arm/wrist strap hurts his wrist not very well thought out in that aspect. He played with it like one or two days if that and hasn't touched it since.

Tried several new batteries and LCD screen did not work...could hardly see the numbers. Disappointed!

My son really wanted this toy even though he doesn't play the bakugan game according to the rules. He mostly just opens, closes the little toys & sometimes makes them pretend to fight.

The gauntlet is plastic & the portion that forms the wristband is a hard plastic that isn't really comfortable to wear & doesn't fit well (only a few notches to choose from). It has a calculator on it but if you aren't keeping any kind of score or following the rules of the actual game this is probably not worth the money.

My 6 year old was so excited about this gift, however, because it's a calculator and he was using it constantly, some of the numbers just quit showing up. He was pretty disappointed the 'electronic' part of it didn't last long.

never worked, from the moment we opened, we took the envelope and put batteries ... never worked and it was disappointing because it was a birthday present

I bought it because he was so excited about it. He was very happy with it.
