Purchased this to take to Chantz,my Grandson,on my visit to Florida. He thoroughly enjoys collecting them. He was so excited to add these to his collection. I even enjoyed playing & seeing what they were all about even being his Nana.

I have two boys, ages 4 & 1/2 and 7, and they both LOVE Bakugan. They have an "Ultimate Bakugan" book and have learned the names of over 100 Bakugans and studied their traits. The boys love how they roll up and enjoy having "brawls" in the battle arena. The toys also open up on any magnetic surface, so my sons will search all over the house for places for their Bakugans to open.
My 7 year-old, who is in 2nd grade loves adding up their "G's". They have 3 digit numbers on them which describe their "power". When a Bakugan lands on a gate card and opens up, a specified number on the card is added to it's "G" number. My son is adding two 3-digit numbers in his head all the time by playing with these, so it's great practice for mathematics. They are actually quite durable, too. We have had 30(?) Bakugans for over a year, which are played with almost every day, and not one has broken. I would highly recommend Bakugan for children ages 4 through 10.

OVERVIEW
- Small parts, can be swallowed + Develops fine motor skills - Hard to move back into a ball for some of them + Fun for those who watch Bakugan on TV + Toy package is a good value I recently bought this for my 6-year-old brother for Christmas and he was SO HAPPY to see it! I don't really understand this Bakugan craze (I'm more of a beanie baby fan myself), but he insists that *everyone* has a Bakugan and that he needs to battle them. I was surprised at all the intricate parts of the toy, since the parts of the Bakugan's body either extend out to a dragonoid form or into a ball. These small ones have the magnets on the bottom that make the ball "snap out" to take form when rolled onto a battlefield (or any magnet, really).
