This is a booster pack consisting of 3 special ability cards and 2 metal gate cards. This supplements game play for battling the Bakugan figures to add to complexity and excitement for intermediate and advanced players.

The metal gate cards are placed on the ground or battle arena to trigger the Bakugan figures to open (when landed upon). Special ability cards are held in hand to allow various things, such as counter attacks, augment a figure's power or offset the power of the opponent. Special ability cards are constructed like Pokemon or High End Fleer Baseball cards (glossy high end collectible cards).

Due to the metallic nature of the gate cards, they may set off alarms at the airport.

No figures are included in this pack, just the cards.

This Booster Pack was exactly what the kids wanted and has provided hours of creative imaginary play.

I purchased these for my 6 year old son, he wanted them for Christmas. He also received the Bakugan battle brawlers which stick to the cards, there magnetic. I don't know much about the game end but overall he liked them and plays with them often.

My Grandson's seem to be happy with it and that is all that matters to this Mom-Mom. The seller got it to me in excellant time for my Grandson's b-day. I was very pleased with the service I rec'd.

This is a Christmas gift for my nephew. So I'm not sure how much fun it is. It looks fun or I wouldn't have bought it. Durable, we'll see. I hope its as fun as it looks.

Bakugan was on my grandson's Christmas list, and you couldn't get it in the local stores (sold out coming off the trucks). It was startling to find the range in prices pre holiday at different higher levels, and then see the whole Bakugan section drop to reality after the holiday. It clarified that you were really being ripped off, because it was Christmas.
