5.0 out of 5 stars You guys are all crazy
This cd is a great standpoint for the new, and albeat young, generation of electronic music. Whatever your preference of music, do not let other reviewers mislead the music. Listen to it and be your own judge. Peace!

3.0 out of 5 stars Well...
The comp serves well as a showcase of progressive music today, but it sounds the same as any renaissance comp from the last 2 yrs. Also the track "pick it up" by Alxekid is wrong. The track is actually "Don't hide it". This kind of really turned me off from really experiencing the whole thing, and most of the tracks are simply dull. I'd recomment Digweeds transitions over...

5.0 out of 5 stars Really, really good... if you want fun and heavy beats, get this.., February 16, 2007

After checking out the reviews posted here, I was kind of hesitant of whether I should purchase Balance 009 or not, but I am really glad I did. Paolo cooked up a really nice mix here, blending in new sounds with old school sounding new tracks, this mix is pure fun but never gets cheezy, its fun in an uplifitng kind of way. I highly recommend this mix if you liked Dave Seaman Renaissance: The Masters Series, Vol. 7 then you will definitely like this mix. Lots of house, lots of acid in this mix.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very surprised, June 17, 2006

I picked up this compilation without any expectations. I mean..sure...Paolo has toured with Nic Fanciulli and I have seen a very impressive live set at Club Space in Miami, but I wasn't quite aware of his true talents.
Both discs are equally impressive and seem to bend different genres throughout. I don't even have a favorite disc since they are both pretty damned enjoyable.

Having listened to one of the hottest Balance releases (Desyn Masiello Balance 08), I had high expectations from the follow up release (Paolo Mojo Balance 09). Unfortunately, they are completely opposites when it comes to my listening enjoyment. The tracks in Paolo's compilation are nothing but outdated. I can't wait for Jimmy Van M's release of Balance 10 to erase the bad memories of Paolo's buzz kill.
