I purchased this thinking I was getting a good deal, then the product arrives 1 week from expiring and the bars are hard as a rock. I would definitely recommend not purchasing these bars online as you get no guarantee how fresh they are.

I wish I could agree with the other two reviewers but I am a big fan of Balance Bars and have been eating them since they were first introduced. I ordered these because they are less expensive and because I have a hard time finding the Yogurt Honey Peanut bars in retail stores. I have tried a sample of the bars in each of of the boxes I bought (I ordered 2 24-bar packages) and found them to be very dry, hard and stale tasting. The bars I have purchased at WalMart and Target are always softer in texture and fresh tasting -- a lot more moist. I doubt I will reorder from this vendor.

These bars were already 2 weeks expired when I received them. The seller obviously didn't mention that in the description. I think it is poor business practice to ship outdated goods. The bars still tasted okay at least.

Product came as advertised and on time. Contrary to some of the other reviews posted for this product I had no problem with the taste of the bars. They tasted just the same as they do from the grocery store.

I second the opinion that the bars are very dry. The box I purchased last week 12/5 or so, has an expiration date of Jan 2011. My guess is that's why they are so dry.

My two favorite flavors in the same package. Very happy to see this. Sugar content is a bit high, but otherwise a great product.

good product. Was looking for a means to get these to our son away at school. Paying postage was the only downside.
