This review is from: Balance Sheet: The Iraq War and U.S. National Security (Stanford Security Studies) (Hardcover)
The editors and contributors will be remembered for this portrait of the Iraq War. Even thought, after 200 pages of terrorism, nuclear proliferation, public opinion analysis and counterfactual recounting they arrive at what we already know. The mural that gets painted in the process is one that makes you wonder. It depicts Osama bin Laden's distain of al-Zarqawi's tattoos, confrontations within the Security Council, great humanitarian documents, and a new beast - world public opinion. The tension created is like some new world order trying to be born.
