About the Author
C. Sue Furman, Ph.D. is an expert on animal massage and an accomplished writer with three books and more than 100 scientific and popular press articles to her credit. She believes that massage impacts the body, mind and spirit of a dog and is a great way to offer individual attention, comfort and healing to a pet. Her 40-year career in biological sciences includes a firsthand knowledge of canine anatomy and physiology that provides a solid base for her writing. Furman recently received an Evvy Award from the Colorado Independent Publishers Association for Balance Your Dog. Kudos for Furman and the book were also passed out in Your Dog, Catnip, and Prevention Magazine articles about animal massage. She lives with the Wolfchase Pack of hounds and teaches canine and equine massage classes at her Holistic Touch Therapy facility.
