Margaret is in the third grade class where all the students are her friends excpt for Tommy. She is determined to make him her friend also, but Tommy doesn't like Margaret.

He says, "Anything Margaret can do, I can do better."

Then they have to work together to come up with an idea for the school carnival to see which class can earn the greatest amount of money to buy gym equipment. So, they work together on the idea and later become friends.

4.0 out of 5 stars :), January 11, 2011
This review is from: The Balancing Girl (Paperback)
This is a sweet, simple story about a girl who is really (really!) good at balancing things, and makes a very long domino chain for her class fair.

The fact that she uses a wheelchair is barely mentioned, which I thought was a nice touch.

There's not much to *say* about this book, but it'd make a good addition to most people's libraries.
