I really injoyed this book. The Bald Bandit is about when a person comes to Dink's house and he wants to find the kid who recorded the vedio. Will they be able to find they vedio or will they get stuck with a crook.

It was funny when Ruth Rose was dressed like Elvis.

I reccomend this book to kids who like mysterys.

This is one of the best books in the series. I think this is the best book. I liked this book because I like mysteries. I like the whole series but this one was the best so far.
If you like mysteries you should read the series.

I read a book called The Bald Bandit by Ron Roy. It's about a bandit who robs the Green Lawn Savings Bank. The three detectives (Dink, Josh, Ruth Rose) solved the mystery. When a private detective named Reddy came to look for the videotape the three detectives decided to help him. Reddy said if they found the videotape they would earn a hundred bucks.

My favorite part of the book was when Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose got the videotape and they watched the tape and they noticed it was Reddy who robbed the bank. When Reddy was at Dink's house ready to get the video, Dink hid it and gave him a tape of soccer. Ruth Rose sneaks into her house and calls the police. I think the thief was pretty smart.

I think the book was a perfect fit for me because I love reading mystery books. When I read this book at home I can't stop reading it until I finish.

This is a story about three kids named Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose who try to find a kid who has taped the robber on camera stealing $ from the bank. It's a very adventurous story. My favorite character is Josh because he always eats food every fifteen minutes.


I loved the book so much, my favorite part in the book is when Ruth Rose was Elvis for Halloween.


I recommend this book because its, fun, adventurous, and exiting. This book is part of the Atoz series.

I love this book and The Absent Author. Thery both are kind of scary and really mysterious. The Bald Bandit is about three kids, Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose. A boy has taped a robber robbing the Green Lawn bank. The three kids have to find the tape and the robber and you'll be surprised at who robbed the bank!!

My 6 year old who hates to read and hates chapter books can't wait for me to read the next chapter to her! The mystery part isn't too hard to figure out and the clues are easy enough for her to catch. I highly recomend this series to any parent who it trying to show their children that reading can be fun. We now own over half of the series.

My son really enjoyed the first story and this one has also been declared a winner. Looks like I'll have 24 more books to buy soon! The reading level seems appropriate without being intimidating--he reads (according to his teacher) a grade level above, and overall is stubborn and has to choose his own thing. I don't know what his official 'lexile' level is (new words for me) but the book is listed at 470.

If you have a child who reads about these levels, and is looking for a fun series that appeals to the picky reader, I would recommend trying this series.

My brother did not like to read but after reading this series he can read. They are predictable and are easy but thats what makes them so fun see if you could solve it!
