I have a small ranch & good gloves are hard to find, especially because my hands are small (note that im petite & female). The small gloves dont fit 100% but still fit fairly well. Especially since most smalls arent even in the ball park for my hands. I use these for year round stuff like unloading hay to seasonal stuff like just wearing them during the winter to not freeze my hands as badly & to drain hoses & stuff. These are durable & long lasting. No they arent water proof, but I spray the light colored parts with something to help keep water out. It doesnt stop the gloves from getting wet but it works to slow down the soak so I can use them longer before having to take them off or switching them out since I also use these to dump troughs & move ice. A great pair of the gloves for the price, & when mine wear out I would definitely buy another pair.

I bought my first pair of these gloves about 3 years ago and I've used them for just about anything and everything you can think of -- building houses and hauling lumber & sheet goods to turning wrenches and general yard & garden chores to mountain biking, fishing and camping. These gloves have been on my hands more days than not in that time. Suffice it to say these babies have been through the wringer . . . and they've performed admirably.

Great grip, good dexterity, excellent fit and fantastic overall performance. Far more than one can reasonably expect out of a $10 pair of gloves.

In my search for the perfect gloves, I've had the CLC Handyman gloves as well as $60+ deerskin units -- both of which I also loved --and the Bald Eagle skins out-performed and out-lasted them all, at a fraction of the cost. I will say that the deerskins were super plush and comfortable, with better dexterity, but they lasted about 1/3 the time these Bald Eagles have. I also found the CLCs better for mountain biking, as they have a bit more palm padding and better cuffs for sealing out the mud & general ick but, again, the BEs out-performed those in virtually every other category (realizing, of course, that probably not many people are gonna opt for work gloves as cycling gloves, but, hey, there ya go).

I would, without doubt or hesitation, recommend these gloves (even for mountain biking).

Cheers!

Great gloves, I'm in construction and these are the only ones I wear.
