We become enthralled by the rituals and modern practice of the Balinese. Sasa Felsbach has always experimented with a number of photographic forms: portraiture, fashion and landscape. When she arrived in Bali she "grabbed a motorbike and explored." The resulting images seduce us into understanding the real Bali, a world far removed from the usual tourist trail.
About the Author
Sasa Felsbach was born in 1966. She is an Austrian photographer with Dutch Indonesian origins. She lives mainly in Vienna, Bali and Sydney.
