I did not use board socks until I bought a couple of these. Although they do not save the board from a 5 ft drop onto concrete, they will protect from you everyday bumps and bangs. I keep them on in the bed of the truck until I get to the beach which protects them from clanging into each other. I have bumped the boards several times getting them in and out of the garage with these covers on and they have saved the boards every time.Also board socks double as a towel. I would highly recommend this product. This is probably the cheapest around, especially if you turn in your amazon rewards. |
