5.0 out of 5 stars Great value for freezing and homemade yogurt.
These are BPA free, in case anyone was wondering. I looked on the Ball website before ordering, and it also confirmed it on the packaging. They should mention this in the description!

2.0 out of 5 stars Just OK
Nice size containers for yogurt and other things, but they still leak which is very dissappointing. I was looking for a leak free container which others said it was.

These are BPA free, in case anyone was wondering. I looked on the Ball website before ordering, and it also confirmed it on the packaging. They should mention this in the description!

Anyway, I use these for just about everything. I bought a 30 pack, and just came back for more! I do a lot in bulk, and freeze small portions of pizza sauce, soup, etc. My recent discovery of homemade yogurt has been my biggest excitement for these little jars!

My kids love, LOVE fruit on the bottom yogurt. I hate all the sugar added. I started making my own yogurt, using my crockpot (just google crockpot homemade yogurt, it is super-easy!) and fresh or frozen fruit on the bottom, and the kids get SOOOO excited picking out their own individual container. They are easy enough for my kindergartener to remove the lid at lunch, but the seal is solid. Did I mention I am saving a small fortune on these individual yogurts, now that I can reuse these containers?

Back to these little containers though. The ones I already have are going strong after over a year of use. No leaking, stack perfectly, and they clean up beautifully in the dishwasher. For plastic, they are durable! I did break one when I dropped it on concrete while it had frozen soup, but that is the only one that has been damaged. These are a great value! I highly recommend them, and may be back for more if I find that 60 is not enough. : )

This is our second set of 30 cups. We use them so much, that I had to order more. My daughter and I use these great little 8oz (1 cup) containers to portion control our foods. By doing this she has lost 8 - 10 lbs. It is easier for her to see what a portion control looks like. Keeps us both from over eating right out of the bag or box. We stack them in the cabinet for dry foods, use them to make jello and pudding in portion control sizes (much cheaper than buying the portion sized at the grocery store). I have used them for soups, stews, & broth and freeze them for later use. In the refridgerator I store all kinds of leftovers. These are the greatest.

I had been searching for 1-cup plastic containers to store lemon juice in freezer. These were the only ones I found that did not come with other sizes included, and they have a lid that twists to seal. They work great. I'm glad I bought 2 boxes of them since I have already used 1 box

i bought these to use for freezing small amts of food. What I did not know by reading reviews is they do NOT work well for liquids there is no real seal... I made mistake of thinking these were great size to take things in my lunch or to work... so I took some milk in one to work to use in my coffee and it was all over the bottom of my lunch bag by time i arrived a work... they are GREAT for freezer and thick items or small small portions. Love that they stack n snap together

These are far better quality than I expected for the price. Not flimsy at all. I make and freeze raw cat food. These are perfect for daily portions. Perfect for lunch "sides", left overs, just about anything, even non food storage. Cap fits snugly and securely with a twist. No freezer burn! I'm ordering more for freezer jams, portions of home made soup, spaghetti sauce, blanched garden vegetables and garden fruits. They say these are good for a year in the freezer! You can't top THAT freezer bags! One cup portions of everything!!! I make my own yogurt too and these are just the right size. This plastic type is #5, which is safe. (Never buy or use #'s 3, 6, or 7 as they contain harmful substances). The bottoms of the cups fit into the top/lid of the next cup so they all stay together in the freezer and don't fall all over. Once you get these you will find more and more uses for them!

The tops of the Ball plastic containers are what makes these so awesome, because unlike most other brands Ball has screw top container tops. This makes it virtually impossible to spill anything out of the jars while the top is secured.
Love them and bought a ton
ENJOY

4.0 out of 5 stars They are great!, November 2, 2010
This review is from: Ball 82000 8-Ounce Plastic Freezer Storage Containers, 30-Pack (Kitchen)
They are great containers. We use them a lot. We use them to take yogurt with fresh fruits to work everyday. The only thing is when you put the tops in the dishwasher, specially if is yogurt or something grease it gets a little mold inside of the tops overtime. Just watch for the mold in the tops, and they are perfect!
