3.0 out of 5 stars MISFIT HISTORY / BALLBREAKER REMASTERED 2001, August 27, 2005

This review is from: Ball Breakers (Video Game)
Strange, rare solo album from Broaddus of the prog rock band Hoax and oddly enough produced by Pedroza and Baxter studios. This solo album displays some of the madcap antics that the Hoax was known for in the early days. It is basically a hodgepodge of songs recorded by Broaddus through the nineties with musical guest Robbie Hulings an early Hoax member. This really is for collectors only.

songlist:
1. Directions 1,2,3- Weird synth exercises
2. Cedric- complete madness captured on this tune
3. Why did she go? - atmospheric piano piece
4. Roundy-a-bound - nice bass line
5. Stream Part 3- Strange continuation of the stream concept- sounds New- Waveish with a dash of The CURE
6. Stranger in a strange town- I like the way this sounds- what's he chanting???
7. Chicken- Rob joins Randy on the topic of food
8. Pat- Rob/Randy ramble on about mismanagement
9. Petered Gun- rendition of a classic
10. Burritos- funkadelic delicatessen
11. Goodbye cruel world- salute to floyd
12. Burritos part 2- Hoedown style
13. Jella- lustarama w/ cunnigham yell
14. Code B- futuristic K- message
15. Going Downtown- Plaza schlong
16. mathematics- frustrated college dweller

Rumor has it that there might be a part 2 to this album-stay tuned.
