The title of my review sums it up. They're exactly what you'd expect. Since they haven't exploded, attacked me in my sleep, or formed a cult, there isn't really anything to review past what the picture shows you.

If one of the above events happens, I'll be sure to update my review.

Ok, so the shipping cost was through the roof, _BUT_ every canning jar in my area was sold out. It seems I'm not the only one trying to make everything from my garden last through the winter. When they arrived I was expecting something like the ones I'd already had, boring but good. To my surprise these were much nicer. The wide mouths on these jars put my old ones to shame. I'm very pleased. I'm considering getting more for next year and tossing my old ones, but first I'm going to check in my area so I don't need to pay for transport. OVERALL: The jars really are great if you don't mind paying the shipping costs.

I use these to store my freshly made juice. Wide mouth jars means I can stick my entire hand and clean out the bottom of the jar.

Save over 50% and get these from your local grocery store. What a dumb mistake I have made. And there was a broken jar in the bunch.

These jars are the right size and reusable too. The opening is big enough to clean out like one of the dishes and is reusable.They are also Sharpie friendly. I use sticker labels now a days because what I keep in there changes.

Was looking forward to receiving some good old 'Made in USA' merchandise. These new wide mouth Ball pint freezer jars are pretty crude. The glass bead below the threads is irregular and may impede use of the Tilia widemouth vacuum sealer. The freezer safe level markings on most of the jars is missing or illegible. Some of the bands were dented and several were cross threaded onto the jars. The only consolation is that the band material is so thin that it bends enough to permit screwing on despite the dents. I would not buy Jarden stock if you paid me. Starting with the blister packaging which makes the jar cartons useless for storing jars, it's apparent that this company is unsuccessfully cutting as many corners as possible to improve profitability. At this rate Ball appears to be destined to the same fate that Griswold and and Wagner suffered after being acquired by Textron.

I use these for macerating herbs and making varnish. The wide mouth is very convenient. The lids could be better though. Cheaper than the only local source even with shipping.
Good jar at a good price, not outstanding--the lid needs improvement.

My local mom & pop hardware store carries this 12 pack for $12. Yours probably does too. Save your money! For once Amazon is not the best deal.

The product arrived on time and just as descibed. The service wes extremely efficient and it was an easy transaction. The jars are just perfect for making strawberry jam. I love them and would highly reccommend this product.AA++

I received the wrong item. The product description showed the jars are pint sized. The jars I received were only 4 ounce jars instead. Also, the packaging was opened and at least one of the jar's lid was bent. I won't be ordering Ball Mason Jars through this vendor again. After I received the package, I went to my local hardware store and had them special order the desired item. Now I have to figure out how to return the jars that I received through Amazon, which were poorly packaged in the first place, so that they are returned in the same condition as received.
